It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
Jenni Devyn
Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

The haters on here are delusional. This show was hilarious but not everyone has a sense of humour.Firstly, the name has obviously confused a bunch of people who somehow thought the TV series should be the movie broken up into 6 or 10 parts with the same plot, actors, jokes, etc. Except this is a series and something new. Duh!Secondly, I see a lot of people complaining about plot holes and lack of realism. Guess what, Zombies aren't real and shows like Red Dwarf are FULL of plot holes but like this show, they own it and it's funny. Besides, it was a pilot. They didn't get the chance to write any scripts!! This was headed in the right direction before people who just hate on everything killed it off.Thirdly, people moaning about the swearing... seriously? Stop focusing on it and realise that it's part of the joke. Clearly, you were after some Seinfeld material instead of something edgy and funny. I saw someone's review saying "it's nothing like The Walking Dead". Yeah genius, TWD is a drama and this was.... wait for it... a comedy!!! Lastly, the actors. What were you expecting? The same AAA actors on a new series? The actors that were chosen, not only did an outstanding job, but suit the series. They were hilarious and this was just a pilot!!! Imagine if they'd had the opportunity to grow the characters.Anyhow, now we will never see what this series could've become and we have nothing in it's place, so great job, haters, you've managed to hate on something without ever seeing what it could be beyond a pilot. People like you is why we have reality TV.

I thought it was pretty funny. I was actually hoping that this would become a TV series. I have to admit I was pretty disappointed to see that it didn't go anywhere. I didn't realize it was the movie made into a TV show. I just thought it was a new TV show and it was pretty funny. It feels like a parody to zombie movies but at the same time it feels like it has plenty of actual action. It's just a funny and a little crazy zombie flick that I was looking forward to as a series. Seems like my wish will not be granted anytime soon. Hopefully somebody reads the reviews and decides to make it a show still. You have to keep in mind this sort of comedy is not for everyone but I'm sure the people that like zombie movies and comedies like Reno 911 or Workaholics and this sort of thing would enjoy it.

This half-hour pilot unfortunately did not get picked up for a TV series. It's a sequel to the popular movie Zombieland starring Eisenberg, Stone, Harrelson and Breslin. Unfortunately, they did not manage to get any of the original actors on board, so they added a completely new quartet of actors that all have done some TV work before, but not too known. The most famous of the bunch may be Maiara Walsh, who had a recurring character on "Desperate Housewives" for example. However, what was maybe lacking with the cast, got put right with the crew. The writers from the movie also wrote this short film and the director is the one from "Tucker and Dale vs Evil".All in all, it was an entertaining 30 minutes that had me hooked quite from the start because Tim Bagley is always a welcome presence for me. I wasn't really fond of Walsh's performance, but everybody was pretty okay with what they were given. I don't believe it was a lot worse than the film it is based on, here and there acting-wise maybe, but the story was equally good. It had weaker parts like the count, but I could bear with these thanks to the funnier highlights like for example how everybody they run into gets massacred by the zombies somehow. The skyscraper window cleaner particularly had me in stitches. It's unlikely somebody will ever watch this if he hasn't seen the film, but if you liked it, this one's definitely worth a watch, also thanks to the zombie seniors near the end. It's maybe hurt a bit by the lack of romance aspect and that the whole story obviously is no longer as innovative before the movie and The Walking Dead, but it can still make for an entertaining 30 minutes.

every body's giving it a hard time in one way or another cause of Jesse or woody's lack to the show, well it would be a 100 out of ten if the originals was added to the cast but.......they ain't deal with it, the cast in replacement do justice enough i feel, yes, even Tallahassee, i really like the transition to be honest if they was to give the roles to non original casters than I'm glad they chose these guys n gals cause in all honesty they could do with some exposure so great job there, acting was considering new cast and not so well known actor/actress's a 7/10 enjoyed the chemistry between them and the direction they went together even the younger lass seemed to entertain my acting taste buds and (not to stereotype but....) most know that the younger stars ain't too great acting but she done goodstory (so far.....only pilot so ha ha) I'm gonna give a 7.5 possibly an 8/10 due to the slap stick and the 'zomedy' i found really entertaining and a little over the top which is (proven by family guy) quite a big hit in my parts of the pond so yeah, my only dig was i found it a little short but that is something i am more than willing to get used to.over all a 9/10 loved the new cast, good job, story was and could become more awesome along the way i hope to see more n more of the show have a big fan here from the get go so make it happen please :)
