A whole ago, I expressed my thoughts on Rachel and her grandfather control the island. I personally loved this show! This show is a great comedy on its own. Our protagonist Alex King somehow (don't ask) travels to the beginning of what was his worst year ever. So, he must make things right by making it into the best year ever! So he tries to win the heart of the stereotypical popular girl, Nicole and more things. A lot of the characters are stereotypes but I don't mind them because they the show bad in any way! Sadly, Netflix took down this Australian comedic masterpiece. If you can find this show anywhere else, please give it try!

Alex King is your average 14-year old boy, thinking he is about to embark on one of the best years of his life. What ensues is one of the worst. Similar to a 'Groundhog Day' formula- Alex finds himself looping back to the start of this terrible year. Coincidentally the start of his school term. Thus giving him a chance to right all the wrongs that have played out before. Alex falls on his face the 1st time around- then comes through a 2nd time beaming with confidence, and a plan to fix the mishap. Though some new, unanticipated troubles emerge!Alex and his lovable, geeky side-kicks, Simon & Maddie, find themselves in a wide variety of hilarious situations. Each episode coincides with a month, and you're not sure what to expect. Alex goes out of his way to impress his dream girl, Nicola, who is mean but not unapproachable. Harp music plays whenever Nicola is near, and you'll be ready to see goofy Alex make a fool of himself, as we all did in front of our crush. All the cast is terrific and likeable, even the school bully, Parker, who isn't so irritating that it ruins the fun of the entire show (H2O comes to mind). Sam, Alex's sister, is mean but believable as the sibling rivalry. You'll laugh at Simon's goofy, over-confident personality and Maddie's cute, stern loyalty to the group. Maddie keeps the group grounded, most times (wait until you find out how she cheats on tests!). Some of the situations they end up in you'd never see coming: soccer games, marathons, school tests, plays, pranks...running over pedestrians in a bubble. Each episode has something zany, fun, and doesn't force you to suspend logic. This all could easily happen! The final episode leaves you with mystery of the loop. Will it cease? Will it reset? Will it transfer to a friend? We may never know!
Rated 9 of 10 only because it is a short series and you'll really want to see more when it's over!Catch it on Netflix before it's pulled February 2018!
