A different way of telling a story

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

Well my daughter told me to watch this on Amazon. She is 44 and I am 67. We both love horses, my daughters have them so anything with horses in I watch usually. I was HOOKED first episode. Its a thrilling and exciting ride from the beginning. Episode 2 season 1, was breathtaking, the riding and stunts superb. I loved this show from the start to the end. Interesting mix of storylines, love, mischief, spite, jealousy, you name it well its got it. Oh and yes some horses will only respond to one person if they have been imprinted with them. My daughters is like that. (black with a star). ANYONE can watch it this, and no its not about fires as some bright spark told me lol. REALLY excellent, dont miss out on a great ride.

As a drama I might have given this 4 stars for a decent premise. Beyond the ever-consistent Greg Serano and Arye Gross (neither of whom receive the screen time they deserve), the disarming Andrew Hoeft (seriously...where has this kid gone??), the acting was mediocre at best and even the decent actors were often sabotaged by trite dialogue. Moreover, as a show about horse racing (or even horses in general) it has to be the most poorly researched, horrendously filmed series I've ever seen. I could forgive a lot if the creators had bothered to put even the tiniest bit of effort into accurately portraying the equestrian world purportedly driving this show (certainly not the case in reality). I made it halfway through the second season solely on the hope that it would improve but the blatant inconsistencies and implausible scenarios make it about unbearable.

Before I get started on this review I want to state that I wasn't even going to watch this show because I thought it wasn't going to be for me but then again as they say Never judge a book by it's cover.Wildfire really goes to show that you can get a lot for making a very clever show.Wildfire tells about a teenager named Kris (Genevieve Padalecki)Who through a working program is release from prison.Along with the help of the Ritters she learns how to rebuild her life with the help of her trusted horse Wildfire. However things are not always what they seems with the Ritter rival Davis always trying to get ahead of them. But together they would always do what they could to survive. It just this series had the best of both worlds everything from the cast to the characters, music writing everything.Wildfire really should have been giving more then it got because it was an amazing show and still is.I need to find the series on DVD because I would love to watch it again.Trust me if you ever want to see a show that had the best of both worlds this would be it.Wildfire is flawless please do yourself a favor and watch this show.

I am a 50 year old male. I have been a decades long time fan of thoroughbred racing, so this show caught my eye on Netflix. I am also unemployed, so I pretty much pulled a full marathon over a couple of weeks.First, I must say I absolutely loved the 'behind-the-scenes' look at the racing industry, from the owners, to the trainers, to the jockeys, to the vets, and even the unsavory characters. Absolutely magnificent and will recommend to any thoroughbred racing fan.I am not a prude, but I do not understand how this series can be labeled a 'family show'. Sure, it is not an R rated production, but the behavior of some of the characters leaves much to be desired, especially when they are 'the heroes' of the show. I personally think love and lust gets confused here and they made it seem like it is OK to jump from bed to bed. I'll give them a little credit to show there are some consequences to that, but still...Spoilers Start Here - I was happy with the ending. Nice guys do not always finish last.It is interesting how the screen writers played with my emotions. The villains ended up being not so bad at all, while the heroine was selfish, manipulative, self-centered, egotistical and an overall trouble-maker. Well, things did work out as they should had at the very end, and I guess everyone learned their lesson. It was a good series and even though I was not happy it was over, it did end with a satisfying conclusion.
