A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

Blistering performances.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

The best show was the first, but over the last few seasons it has gotten worse, with poor writing for the actors to speak, they do not change clothes, they say the same thing over and over again and they drag scenes for weeks on and never get anywhere. Veronica is a mean bitch and only one time did Jeffrey and perhaps Katherine give you something that you might want to see again, David is a wimp and boring to me. Wyatt is always trying to recover from drugs and never does anything productive, Jim is always trying to get back at someone, Hanna is always praying and never changes her clothes, always depressed, never seeing a smile and being happy, Candice is always trying to get even with someone, well now both of her black men are dead, lets see what happens next season, her case never comes up, Jeffrey is a pussy too, get some balls and be a real gay man. When anyone on the show gets hit, the injury stays for the entire season and never goes away. When someone dies the cast never knows or the persons involved never knows about it for months on, that is very tired, like a child is writing this so called night time soap opera. I wish Oprah would band Tyler Perry from being on OWN, his shows are giving her a bad name. He really needs to stick to his plays where Madea was so funny but when he plays himself it is boring too, some of his movies are great but these TV shows are tired as hell. Need to be on TV land or TV ONE.

This is my absolute favorite show and I can't wait each week to see what new twists and turns this show will take!!! The characters really get to me and I either love them or love to hate them with a passion! Hanna is my favorite character....Jeffrey a close second. Tyler Perry is a creative genius!!

Show gets a 10 for Suspense! As soon as I think I know where it's going, there are twists and turns and/or a new plot develops. This comes from writers/Perry with vivid imaginations and keeps us viewers coming back for more. I do have a couple of issues. The Hanna, Candice, Bennie relationship is getting stale. More needs to be revealed about why Candice hates her mother so much. Bennie is boring, seems insignificant - perhaps he should still be in a coma. Hanna is getting a little boring as well - too melodramatic. Another issue - the sound effects! Sometimes I cannot hear the dialogue because the background music is so loud. Hope my critique helps, and the show has continued success!

I do like the show, and it has it's moments. With that said, I agree that Tyler Perry needs serious creative input, and needs to loosen up some of the creative control. I agree with the flaws in the writing that I've seen on this show that I think the show could be better if he worked with other writers and directors. My biggest problem with the show is any character on the show supposed to be the protagonist? Tika's character Candace could be the protagonist if Tyler was able to tone her down a little and stop punishing her for being bad.But Tyler Perry has built in his audiences, they watch his shows and love them, so if he has the audience base and they like his shows and movies as they are there is no need for him to change them.
