S1 was excellent, couldn't see how it could be equaled and yet S2 stands up very well. Ending was predictable but very sad nonetheless. So looking forward to S3

The first season of this series is nothing less than a masterpiece. It is probably the best detective story there is out there. Sadly, the second season is a completely different story. It should be called differently too, so you dont mix gold with plastic.I hope the stars of the first season come back some day, and create a new season deserving the title of True Detective.
