TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

This series is not even close to reality and full of sex and "drugs" abuse (shots of vampire blood). The story line is a complete mess hard to follow. And thThis is just the worst show HBO ever created IMO

HarleenQuinzel16 True blood is the best TV show i have ever watched and trust me i have watched a lot of TV shows. i have never seen a TV show like this one the story line is great the actors are perfect and i can truthfully say i don't think i will ever see a better show.True blood is about vampire's which have made themselves public to the world or "come out of the coffin" as they say and are living in peace with the rest of the world because of a new synthetic blood called tru blood which they can now live on, which is a story unlike anything else i have seen. The plot is based around sookie stackhouse (Anna Paquin) who is a telepath and waitress at a roadhouse restaurant in Louisiana who meets a vampire bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) for the first time and become attracted to him because unlike over people she can not read his mind. There is many great characters in this show with all different personalities some who don't agree with vampire human relationships like Jason stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) a lady's man but also sookie's brother who thinks vampires a dangerous. Sam merlotte (Sam Trammell) who just wants the best for sookie but is also in love with her. There is also other characters like Eric Northman ( Alexander Skarsgård) who does not come into the show until ep 4 but makes the whole show even better which who knew was possible. True blood has everything you want in a show it has action, romance. gore and everything in between. This show is so good that every other show that i have rated 10 stars i now realize did not deserve it

dmfitz122 This is the most racist modern movie made- it shows that America is still as trashy as it was 100 years ago. This show characterizes the whole town in-love with the Lilly white blond blue eyed girl, who is a virgin and is perfect- comes from the perfect white Christian family. The African Americans are no doubt playing the stereo typical roles of a drunk single mother who was left by a abusive husband to raise her daughter. Tara is the emotionally broken angry black girl who is in-love with the perfect white boy and gets used like a slot machine by the trashy white bar owner (sam). then there is The African American male who is played as a homosexual, cook. Truly the writers and producers of this series are racist and are not trying to hide it- but so is America. I find this series insulting and the African American Actors should be ashamed for taking part in it. Once again these actors fed the stereo type that niggaz do anything for money.

strawbeliciouss This is the best Fantasy TV Series ever. I love vampire movies/TV series, but True Blood is the best. Anyway, this show isn't for everyone! Keep in mind that it is rated as "TV-MA" (+ 17 years old), and some people could be offended by some scenes. The actors are very suitable for each role. From my opinion, first and second seasons are a little bit different than the rest of the show. They seem "old". Seasons 3/4/5 are better and 6/7 are definitely the best! Every episode makes you smile or laugh, and sometimes you may cry from some kind of "sadness". Nearly every episode has "love" scenes. Don't hesitate, watch True Blood!
