The Wonder List with Bill Weir Audience Reviews

Beanbioca As Good As It Gets
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Bluebell Alcock Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
beckybernat Just happened on this TV show and watched it because it was about Patagonia, a place that I would like visit if I traveled which I rarely do, so I watched to travel there virtually. Great story, beautiful land, dramatic and unexpected ending. I hope this corner of the world can stay preserved and at the same time people who live there can live good lives. One thing that struck me was the juxtaposition of a story about primal earth, preservation and restraint of material possessions next to the opulent materialistic commercial with Matthew McConnehey which oozed wealth and the message to buy expensive things. Kind of jarring and weird.Good show, mixed message.
thegoodnewsjournalist I gave this epic travel show a rating of 10 stars.Bill Weir is an incredible journalist. Not enough good things can be said about his outgoing conversational personality and inquisitive mind. He is the epitome of an exploring journalist that this series really highlights. I feel that he was born for this job and he makes you feel like you were born to watch it as he takes you around the world. Phil Bloom, his cinematographer, makes every scene like a movie. Incredible footage! So far I've seen all of Season 1. Which includes 8 episodes of 8 amazing places that could be on the verge of a world of change.1. Vauatu, a South Pacific Island 2. Galapagos 3. Ikaria, a Greek Island 4. India, the Taj Mahal 5. the Dead Sea 6. Venice 7. the Alps 8. The EvergladesI look forward to watching Season 2 when it becomes available.Season 3 comes out this year--2017!
ttownkeith-12717 The Wonder List is one of the most well done shows I have ever seen. The scenery is spectacular and the stories about the particular locations are always intriguing. Bill Weir is down to earth and makes connections with everyone that he interviews. Considering the varied locations and cultural differences that he reports on, that is an amazing result.Unfortunately there are only 7 episodes in the the first season and I was disappointed when the season ended. Hopefully there will be a season 2 in the not too distant future. Considering how unusual some of the locations and stories are, too many episodes of The Wonder List would probably lead to the law of diminishing returns, creativity and quality wise. I'm guessing that there are possibly only enough unusual locations for maybe 1 more season. Whether or not there is only 1 season or more than 1 season, (as long as the quality remains as high as it is) I predict that in the future, The Wonder List will be looked upon as a classic show for it's time.
sallyruscitti Bill Weir is obviously a very nice individual and a concerned citizen of the earth but he needs to let some squeal of discovery, gasp in awe, crack a joke, explain why the various currents are critically causative in fragile zone of Galapagos. He needs a personality that makes him look a bit more with it. I don;t expect Bourdain or Ian from Globetrekker but surely Bill can ramp up the production...although I am quite sure it is all in the can. Gloriously dull and I am so disappointed. I look forward to India, Venice,Everglades, Alps and perhaps as he grows more comfortable with his new show he won't sound like the Fragile Tourist.
