It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

Bad, bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad. Bad writing, HORRIBLE acting, bad directing (from camera angles to lighting to sound effects). Just a shell of anyone who at least half-way enjoyed The (Real) Tick of our younger years.

How can you not like this? I personally love the storyline!! Sure it isn't exactly the same as the comics series we used to read but it was a great revamp. All the actors did great and I really hope they keep making more episodes. Peter Serafinowicz is a great actor too and nailed playing The Tick. A must watch series with the kids and to relive my favorite super hero.

My new favorite show.Parody of super heroes
Satire of Super heroes
While also, still, somehow, a superhero show in it's own right. Filled with complex characters, heart string plucking hero's journey...While also being the funniest thing on tv.I'd say this is something new, except Edlund has being doing this for almost 30 years. He just keeps getting better and better at it.Can't recommend any higher.Amazing.Please please please Amazon, keep on making this.

Was so happy to see Amazon redo the Tick. This seems to remain truer to the classic cartoon everyone loved so much. However I am still waiting for the introduction of some elements that are still missing which I hope will come to be as the series progresses. The tick won't be complete until the introduction of the Ticks Battle Cry "Spoooon!" are Arthur's "Not in the Face". Also we need to see Die Fledermaus, American Maid, and Sewer Urchin. Also I think fans would love to see some of the old Super Villains like the Deadly Bulb. Jackie Earle Haley's portrayal of the terror is spot on. Love this show, and am looking forward to the 2nd half of season 1.
