The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

This could have been an interesting psycho-drama with some creepy characters flashbacking in and out, but instead it turned into another vehicle to bash the Catholic church, and when that entered the story the yawning started. Hollywood just couldn't resist going for the anti-Catholic statement instead of creating some interesting entertainment for a change. What's the purpose? I guess I won't find out, I didn't finish the series.

Season 1. Slow, not everything explained...meaning of the stab wounds placement...why do we need to know Pullman has a sado-masochistic relationship with a hooker? Really unbelievable, and Biel didn't really act, she must looked gloomy and sad. Sorry I wasted 8 hrs of my life.

First review I've ever left I've only just started watching this and it's amazing. Jessica's acting in this is unbelievable

Exceptional. Highly recommend. Original & keeps you guessing. Was very pleased to have watched. Know based on book (unfamiliar with) not sure if season two is possible as story line perfectly wrapped up however, would very much enjoy visiting the characters again.
