Highly Overrated But Still Good

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

This show is so awesome, been up for almost 3 weeks watching this.
It's just that Rigsby character i think is not really fit for the role. everyone will notice that its like he is the same in real life. just saying, no hatin.

New watcher to it but I'm flying through the seasons right now up to season 4 already. Disclaimer a huge fan of the show Psych but this is not Psych. Not saying this in a bad way to either show but it does no good comparing the two because they are not really close other then both Shawn and Jane noticing details others overlook I love some of his quick with one liners and zingers he sends to people. His complete disregard for people's feelings after losing loved ones and just saying what every one assumes but too reserved to say it I am enjoying the show and I am going to finish but the problem I have is that it is getting very easy to pick out the murderers during the episode leaving no suspense. Even without seeing the shows you can start to pick out the murderers just by reading who is starring in the episodes. I mean the same bad guys that I've seen in shows as Numb3rs, L & O, and Psych (although the cop killer episode killer was actually a good guy in Psych and Jule's ex b/f from Miami) I mean I understand actors are typecast in the industry but does every guest star that was a bad guy in another series always have to be the bad in this series. But I guess if that is my only complaint it must be a good series. Halfway through season 4 and still going.

Everyone might have heard about people having the ability to predict the future or heard about people calling themselves as psychics.Do not have faith in all of them as they are just phonies. They do not have possess these powers as they are con artists who just rip people off.So how's that related to this show? The lead of the show Simon Baker will be one of them who would rip off people with his intellectual skills. He would have high intellectual quotient than others around him which he would be using for bad things in the beginning of the show. What changed him is the starting point of the show which will also change his personality in the show.Check out the article like this at : www.paul96.orgArticles related to the show : http://paul96.org/the-mentalist-the-calm-and-collected-crime-solver/ http://paul96.org/patrick-jane-a-magnanimous-clairvoyant/ http://paul96.org/teresa-lisbon-the-intuitive-investigator/ http://paul96.org/red-john-the-evil-genius/ http://paul96.org/the-mentalist-other-characters/ http://paul96.org/the-mentalist-the-best-episodes/

First i got to say, I loved the show and I still do, Patrick character was great, and the the story line, the mystery and the drama of the show was the main reasons I consider it one my favorites. When I first watched the third season finale I was really really impressed, I couldn't wait to watch the new season, and when it came out you can't believe how much disappointed I got!. Really? The end was perfect and Red John died In a satisfying way. But I had to live with last four boring seasons, and I certainly don't have to tell you how disappointed the second time Patrick killed Red John was.. Great show in the first three seasons, good at best in the last four.
