TrueHello
Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

Once again, a series I have really enjoyed has been canceled by the powers that be! I will admit the first few episodes of the first season were a little slow (perhaps there was room for improvement in the dialogue), but as the series progressed, I was fully engrossed in the story. The physical details of the hairstyles and clothing were absolutely believable and the filming itself was gorgeous. I was particularly impressed by Kelsey Grammar's performance. For anyone who has not yet seen the mere two seasons that exist, allow me to inform you there is an extremely interesting twist in the plot! I don't think this will disappoint. How it was canceled with such a high IMDb rating remains a mystery.

This show looks good enough to eat and is an absolute pleasure to sink your teeth into. The performances, production design and costumes are all top notch and made me want to dive into the world and live amongst its characters for more than nine hours!. Timely themes are woven into the timeless mano a mano, father eclipsing the son plot and its women are given much more to do than in the novella. Lilly Collins and Rosemary Dewitt shine, Kelsey Grammar continues to exceed expectations, which are already quite high, and Matthew Bomer is surprisingly nuanced, projecting both fragility and steel, strength and vulnerability in a very difficult role to cast and pull off. Soooo much better than the Zelda show that it feels as if it was produced for another platform. Bravo to Amazon for aiming to do something so classy, thoughtful AND entertaining. Admire their ambition. Here's hoping we get to see the characters and world grow and deepen even further in season two.

Like-able characters, immersive set design, plausible reasonable historical references but top heavy with anti-heroes.While we root for our central characters all they seem to do is move from pitfall to pitfall.Like a passenger falling off of a liner, rescued just in time from a school of sharks, being hoisted back aboard only to have the ship torpedoed.I guess its a style of drama. Where the central characters can never win.

Seen through the eyes of a movie consumer and not as one to get caught up in the technical aspects of the industry. The story line kept me focused on what may soon happen. TV viewers quickly recognize leading personalities from past shows and the changes in their craft. I found myself intrigued by the sub plots and different story lines that could be explored in future episodes. This show raises different emotions within the viewer in laughing, anger, sadness, romance with virtually all of that a human can have had its moments. If the goal was to have you wanting more, much more, then goal was certainly reached. I immediately searched to learn about the stage of production for future episodes. Surely, Amazon will find a way to give this series a home.
