Very disappointing...

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

I was really excited when i heard the news that David Mitchell was going to be hosting his own quiz show, And i couldn't wait for it to begin. When the first episode aired i thought it was great, Even though i thought David looked a little uneasy but as the show went on he became more relaxed, funnier and more entertaining and the show just kept on improving, getting better and funnier each week. The guests each week were great, And the banter between them and David made the show a success. Please Bring the show back for a second series We need good entertaining and funny shows like The Bubble. Please bring the show back.

When I watched episode 1 of the Bubble I thought it was funny but also that the host (David Mitchell) and the panellists were not quite comfortable with the format. As the series progressed I felt that David found his feet as host and became more able to steer the programme and the comedy content and as a result of this he got the best out of the panellists and himself - so inevitably, the show just got funnier and funnier. Episode 5 was particularly funny all the way through, the 'general goo' interaction was a particular favourite! There were also points of real hilarity, particularly when David became the focus of the panellists wit; for example, the hilarious discussions about 'Pipes the poltergeist' and 'Globalhypercolour' really were gems! I'm still to see the last in the series (broadcast tonight) but I have had feedback from someone at the live recording who said it was better than ever! It will be a real shame if The Bubble isn't commissioned for a second series, it may be more expensive to make than other panel shows such as 'Mock the Week' and 'Have I Got News for You' but it's different in its approach, it has started so well and can only get better in my opinion! Please BBC, recommission this programme!

I've just watched the first episode of this and, frankly, I enjoyed it! It's difficult for a show coming on the tail of such classics as HIGNFY and QI not to suffer by comparison, but "The Bubble" doesn't disappoint! As probably stated elsewhere on this page, a series of contestants/celebrities are isolated from the media for a few days, then asked questions about stories- whether they're true or fictitious! Obviously the responses depend on the people who are asked- Reg D Hunter really padded out the first show IMHO- but this is an issue with all topical quizzes. The host holds it all together well and overall it's very entertaining! 9/10
