Best movie of this year hands down!
RipDelight
This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Ariella Broughton
It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

When All My Children went off the air, I was heartbroken like many others. I love the format of the soap...being on daily, getting to know these people and their problems and joys (just like us!), suspense, cliffhangers, love and scandals. So, I searched for another soap. I could not get into any of them until I turned on The Bold And The Beautiful. WOW! It blew me away in how it could leave you wanting more when the final minute rolled by.This show is the best daytime show out there! The actors, the direction, the sites, the story lines, the suspense are top notch. Kudos to all who make this fine production. You should be proud.I miss Hope so much. She was a great little actress! But everyone else in the cast are great, too. Please continue to strive for excellence....you are appreciated!

When all other soaps have guns, shooting, and murders, B&B focuses on love, fantasy and romance. When the media these day focus so much on the negativity that is going on in our world, B&B has become a wonderfully positive escape from reality. B&B is also the only soap to take its viewers all over the world to areas that most of us could only imagine visiting like Monte Carlo, Paris, Italy and even Dubai! Not only does the show center around romance, it also sheds light on celebrity life in Los Angeles and the glamour of the fashion industry. In between the glitz, glamour and drama, B&B sprinkles in fun and lighthearted camp and comedy. I must also mention the guest stars. You never know who's going to show up on B&B next!I've loved this show from its early days in the 80's, and I will love this show for as long as CBS allows me.

Big fan of the half-hour format. Always been a fan of soap operas and appreciate a smaller cast that allows me to invest in the characters. Love that it takes place in LA. They take the show to a lot of different locations which is fun to watch. The fact that they actually go on location and shoot in places like Italy, Abu-Dhabi, Amsterdam, and Monte Carlo is a bonus! It features story lines with characters from a younger generation and an older generation making it easy for any age to get hooked in. Great story lines, including one with a transgender character (groundbreaking for daytime television)! It features plenty of the drama that we hate to love! Okay, so we actually just love the drama, so keep it coming!

Are the Scriptwriters all in the 10 - 12 year old age group? Anybody over that age could write better scenarios than they do - what is written is pathetic!! If I want to watch 'crap', I will from now on - I'll watch the 'Wiggles'!! It's an older audience who watches The Bold & The Beautiful,& we're not morons!! Pick your writing up, or get new people who can. I have watched this show for many years, & it used to be interesting - now, you can switch on after 4 days and not have missed a thing!! Have production costs been cut or what? Some of the scenarios are just beyond belief - nobody could be as stupid as some of the characters are made out to be, yet these are 'people' who run or are involved in multi-million dollar corporations?
