Armand complicated love story, ambiguous plot, dark Englishman, good friends, family secrets, love, hate, a young girl in search of her great adventure. a series who has all virtues to be a phenomenon because the script is little more than soap opera recipes, the characters are not bad and acting decent. and because it has the right spice - summer, mysteries, beach, the girl in search of the love of her life - who can not be ignored. a nice series , for teenagers, first, but attractive, in fact, for each member of family. and that seems be all. for me, a game of memories who are interesting for the spirit of a period. because, after years, Sunset Beach remains an interesting series about small community who reminds old fairy tales taste.

eriosu I started seeing this show when I came down with the chicken pox in the fall of 1998. I was a bored eleven year old girl with nothing better to do and this show was completely fantastic. I remember tuning in and Passions was on and I was like... what? Even though I watch Passions, I'd trade it for Sunset Beach. I figure, it's too late to bring it back but that was the most interesting soap I've seen in my life.I actually felt connected to the characters, my favourite story line being that of Gabi and Antonio. Oh, the drama.The tragedy of my life is... all the shows I love get canceled.They should release the episodes on DVD.

eminemgirl222 This series still play in french in Quebec. I still watch this series and I enjoy it. This not like other Soap Opera this is more refreshing because this different for the other. It not a classic Soap. The character are funny and the story are original it's normal it a Aaron Spelling series and he always make great series like Beverly Hills, Charmed and many others. My favorite Characters of the series are Meg and Anthonio I think Anthonio is hot. I think this soap ended in 1999 because people doesn't seem to enjoy a soap who is not classic. What I didn't like about this show is that the action not take place quickly. But overall it a great show. And I don't like the fact that sometimes some actors were replaced by others. I just think that when the actions is in the show the show is really fun to watch we want to watch it everyday to see what will happen.
