Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

Caryl It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

TheLittleSongbird There are some shows on the Disney Channel I do not like, Hannah Montana especially, but Sonny with a Chance surprisingly along with Phineas and Ferb is one of the better shows on the Disney channel for me. I would also go as far to say it is the best of the situation comedies aired on the channel, and it is a shame it isn't appreciated as much as it is for my money.When it started, with exception of the slow start that is the pilot, Sonny with a Chance was absolutely hilarious with a lot of charm and heart to boot, so I found it so easy to get into. Season 2 is still good and watchable with the chemistry between the actors still evident, if not as funny or as charming.Production values-wise, Sonny with a Chance is one of the best looking and more stylish shows on Disney. It doesn't have cheap photography or sets, instead the sets are colourful, the fashions and clothes are stylish and trendy and the photography is credible enough without being award-worthy.I love the music too. In fact, Sonny with a Chance is one of the main reasons why I am starting to appreciate this style of music a lot more, the main theme is energetic and memorable especially.What struck me in a good way about Sonny with a Chance was the writing. While there is the odd cheesy line, there are plenty of snappy ones to more than make up for it mixed with the ironic camp I have seen mentioned here. A vast majority of the physical comedy makes me smile too. Not only is Sonny with a Chance hilarious and clever, I could actually tell that a lot of heart had gone into creating the scripts and story lines.Speaking of the story lines, while simple they are much better structured and written than shows like Hannah Montana and Cory in the House, and are much less cheesy and clichéd than those shows as well. Also the heart is there, especially with Hannah Montana there is either not enough heart or none at all. There may be the odd predictable resolution or plot-point, but thankfully it isn't predictable all the time.The characters are at least likable also even with their flaws and have a humanity and depth to them. Tiwani is my favourite I think, that laugh of hers is truly infectious. Sonny is well-meaning and headstrong, not to mention pretty, while Chad manages to be likable while being cocky as well. Nico and Grady are funny and zany, and I love their exciting and amusing adventures, while Zora while having her occasional annoying (in a good way) moments makes me laugh and smile.The acting makes this one of the better acted live-action Disney Channel shows. Demi Lovato is positively adorable with great comic timing, and Sterling Knight shows a very able chemistry with her. As Tiwani, Tiffany Thornton often steals the show on several occasions and is always a joy to watch.In conclusion, a very entertaining show and one of the better Disney Channel shows. 9/10 Bethany Cox

american-beauty60 Well, many of my friends kept telling me about how amazing this show is and I did not want to believe I would enjoy a cheesy Disney production anytime. Anyway I decided to try so I went to SonnyWithAChanceLand's Channel on the "You Tube" as my friends told me and I have to say I wasn't just surprised I was actually shocked. I couldn't believe it is a Disney show. I even went to its Wikipedia page to read more about it and was pleased by the high No. of viewers and the wild popularity of the show. Then I came here using the link and I can't believe I am writing a review about it. Disney has done a great job in hiring all these new kids to their payroll. They really have some quality people working there. This show does not only have talented cast, clever scrip, hilarious jokes, shinny set, it also has a breathtaking romance between the very cute Sonny Munroe and the extremely handsome Chad Dylan Cooper. I am so proud to say I am the biggest Disney fan from now on. I might even start to watch its new shows like "Good luck Charlie" and "Shake it up" although they don't really look as charming as this one. To be honest, I already have watched some episodes of the famous Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly place on mbc3 TV channel before. Both weren't bad but weren't good enough either to keep me watching. They have made me get the wrong idea of Disney cheesiness ever since. But still as I said they not bad at all for kids. Finally, this show will amaze you in every aspect except for its 1st and 3rd episodes. They were average. As for the rest, you'll never be disappointed.

ssammx33 I'm not going to deny that I REALLY underestimated this show. When I first saw the previews for it in January/February, I figured "alright, since Demi's in it, i'll give it a shot." (I'm a HUGE Demi fan(= ) But after giving the show a chance, I have become ridiculously obsessed with it! Even excluding my bias opinions about Demi and Sterling, I honestly think it's the best and funniest show on Disney channel. It has both funny and cute moments (cute moments between Sterling's character, Chad, and Demi's character, Sonny.) And any show with those two things in them is usually good for me. But what really got me interested in the show was the show - within- the - show thing. It seemed to catch my attention the most. And as season one has progressed, the episodes, in my opinion, have gotten much better. You can see a better bond between the cast, and it's really helped the episodes! To be honest, i'm wayyy to obsessed with this and I know a lot of stuff about the show that people don't find out until a while later. So, if you want to know anything, I can probably help you out:) If you don't really watch this show, and stopped watching it after the first few episodes, I'd start watching it again. The first episodes are no where near as good as the newer ones: Sonny in the Kitchen With Dinner, Sonny In the Middle, etc.SONNY WITH A CHANCE ROCKS!

badstrong31 Okay, I was forced to watch this show, and what I thought within the first two minutes of the pilot episode was "God, please strike me down with lightning!" I don't know why they keep doing these teen sitcoms because number one, THEY AREN'T FUNNY, and number two, the only audience they could appeal to is fourth grade girls. Okay, Ned's Declassified was quite original and funny actually, but shows like sonny with a chance are crap. Rocko's modern life (the show about the little kangaroo guy) was a GREAT show because they mixed adult humor with juvenile humor. Sonny with a Chance is about a group of teens, the wannabe gangster black guy, the fat kid, the blonde, the eleven year old prankster, and the brunette who acts like a blonde who have a TV show that is a rip off of all that. All That was one of the funniest children's shows ever made. They do the laugh track every thirty seconds, and the humor is pointless. This show should be a death penalty. Do not watch this garbage
