To me, this movie is perfection.

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

The proposition of serie is very simple. and convincing. and seductive. life of a teenager. his friends. his secrets. his family. and admirable performances. a change of perspective about a familiar character. not fundamental different by what you know. but nuanced. in wise manner. maybe, this is the key of succes in this case. and, sure, a love story who, so intense being, seems provocative.

First of all this is one of the best TV Series that i have ever watched. Graphic wise yes it is not good but who cares? Who knew clark kent had such an immense childhood. This just does not revolve around ONLY Clark kent, it showed us who is Jonathan Kent, what was the purpose of clark kent on planet earth, martha kent, and specially chloe. Now we know why Superman is at the peak of all superhero list, not because of his powers but because of his humanity. I have always been a fan of anti-heroes, and boy i saw one. Lex Luthor AKA Michael Rosenbaum, there is no one ever in the history of Superman Legacy can play this role better than him. Lex luthor was not evil after all, its the jealousy and the trust that other people showed on clark over him that made him the monster he is. Other best thing about this show is Jonathan Kent, John Schneider depicted this role brilliantly. Only thing about this show that i do not like is the constant breakup and patch-ups of clark and lana. That is so boring, if only writers had showns other characters some more interest than this for e.g. Jimmy Olsen, Oliver Queen etc.

I was never much of a superman fan myself not knew any of the mythology or story archs, but I thought the trailers for Smallville looked interesting enough. As I was watching the series I started to noticed the story lines were very reminiscent to Buffy with a monster of the week formula and drawn out characters quite enduring. The story is about a boy named Clark (Tom Welling) who is sent from his home planet krypton to Earth and now resides on a farm while he learns to control his powers.Joining Clark was his two best friend's Chloe Sullivan, Alison Mack who I adored in unlikely Angel, and Pete Riley who I was shocked to find out was never in any of the comics. Every week the trip became involved in the weird cases involving members of the student body becoming infected with kryptonite and gaining an unnatural ability that eventually drove them crazy.Lana Lang(Kristin Kreuk) was the equally talented and beautiful love interest who was often the damsel in distress type that gained an inner strength as the series went on.What made me love this show was the emotions it made you feel. I cries along with Clark when his father died and I worried if Clark would make it in time to stop a bomb lines to kill Chloe. The show was never afraid to go dark places and take risks that would've sunken other shows during sweeps week. What I almost forgotten to mention was the different styles of music it was famous for. Many artists pew their recognition and success to a certain fabulous show.

This entire show was all done WRONG, everything from season 1 to the end of season 10 and reflects NOTHING from the comics but a poor attempt to shadow from the real story in order to draw it out to 10 long boring unworthy seasons and make money, luring the audience into lies and deceit ...First off, Clark never new Lex like in the show. Second, Clark never knew Lois so early and this is the most annoying. Next is the casting like Lana, come on, she was so wrong for the part not to mention Tom Welling was way too old to play a 15 year old in season one and makes you cringe when after an order from his Parents you hear lines like, "Come on Dad, I'm old enough" - yes he was old. 24 year old Welling played Clark at 15 in season 1His parents were not right either, especially Daddy Kent and had this annoying overly clear speech that no Father ever would do. Everyone on the show clicked the end of the name of "Clark" and drew it out like it was some machine which took away from the meaning of heart every other show has.The script was terrible, because NO TEEN ever talks like that. The music was all wrong in an age that no one listens to indie music unless it was made in 1991 to 1998 but it was 2001 to 2010 and should have used pop, Rap and some R&B or dance music but this awful loud banging rock or sometimes rotten indie metal would do nothing for the scenes that were designed to be an added excitement.Back to the script which made it too American and the makers KNEW it was going world wide, so are we to learn that aliens call their Mothers "Mom" and just about every Kryptoian had a yank accent, wowNone of this contains spoilers as no scene was really revealed in this review but the general outline of the show like who meets who should not 'spoil' it for you but warn you to avoid and demand that this be done all over again but in 5 seasons with a focus on Clark alone with his parents right up to the point he leaves school and toying with the notion that he likes Lana but using a better actress not one who shakes her head every time she talks. The whole purpose of the story is Clark needs to get out of Smallville and be challenged with a hidden lifestyle not meet freaks every week and use his powers quite often. Opt for the more boring story lines to make it a less boring show.
