Info

Sex in a tree? A quickie in the closet? Laundry room relations? These are just a few of the out-of-the-ordinary places where amorous adventurers go to get intimate with their other halves. But few people expect to land themselves in the emergency room as a result! Brought to life for Discovery Fit & Health by GRB Entertainment, the production company behind the hit show UNTOLD STORIES OF THE ER, this all-new series documents the real-life and often hilarious stories of what happens when a little action leads to a medical crisis. Retold by emergency room physicians and the actual couples who, in the heat of the moment, got themselves into a fix and needed a doctor to fix it, this series illustrates how loving couples cope when sex goes outrageously wrong.

Sex Sent Me to the ER Audience Reviews

Greenes Please don't spend money on this.
Chirphymium It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
BeSummers Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
txtraveler I saw this show only once, and although the premise seems interesting and entertaining, I won't likely watch again. It's too painful seeing the same segments of video repeated over and over ad nauseum with perhaps an added 10-15 seconds of each story tacked onto the end each time the primary 2-3 minute segment is repeated. I don't get this editing style. If it actually gains viewers then more power to the editors, but it's losing me. I found myself continuously changing channels to find something more interesting when another repeat would start, coming back after a few minutes to see if the story had been advanced any. Often it hadn't.A previous reviewer claimed it's not the editor's fault, but it's definitely the editing. If it's by request of the network then the blame may lie there, but it's the editing - perhaps requested by the network - that is likely to be the downfall of this program.
Tapio Haapala Idea was really good but I had stop watching it at half of episode. I just cannot watch even single episode this poorly edited show. Repeating and repeating same clips and explaining same things again and again. Just worst direction what I had EVER seen at any series. If this series come back with new script I totally want see. Currently it is just abysmal. Acting is not really good neither and some of content are quite surrealistic, but at this kind documentary it does not matter. What matter is that whole thing is just ruined so badly that I don't know how that editor and director even have the face to do that kind "job".
3acts The editing has nothing to do with the FORMAT. The editing is very strong. The show is edited for performance, pacing, and story. The repetitive nature of the show, that reviewers don't like, is dictated by the network and NOT the editor. The editor is told to repeat moments at the head of every story, throughout the show. No editor in his or her right mind would repeat story beats as often as you are seeing. It's NOT the editor who is to blame. If performance is your issue, editors pick the best takes. The director is to blame for those problems. Accordingly, your comments should reflect how the show is "produced" which is where the show style begins and ends.
llamkuf The content is acceptable, throw-away entertainment. However, it was either edited by a child, or somebody trying to be clever. Each episode usually has 3 separate stories. Unfortunately, somebody thought it'd be a great idea to have a maximum of 2-3 minutes per story before switching over to a different story. It'd then chop back to the original, and then back to one of the others. There was nothing fluid or consistent with it. It becomes irritating and frustrating trying to follow each story. Additionally, there are too many repeats of what just happened. If they just split each story into two halves it'd be much better and less frustrating. I've watched 2 episodes, got annoyed, now I've deleted the series link and won't be watching any more. Which is a shame, because it could otherwise have be a good show and been scored 6+.
