I just finished watching the second season and I can say I am really impressed. The second season has longer plot lines which makes it more interesting. It also gives more chance for character development. We see more different sides from Gigi, Ava and Johnny. The actors do an excellent job on this, especially Elizabeth Gillies as Gigi stands out in both comedy and drama. She is also a very talented singer AND wrote some of the songs on this season's soundtrack. The subplot with Rehab and BamBam is just as funny as their plot line in season 1. Especially John Ales as Rehab is a gem to watch. All in all I think I liked season 2 even more than the first, which I already loved. Can't wait for a third season!

..this little show when it first started off held some promise.. but was not quite sure abut it. But surprisingly it has steadily gotten better week to week.. and now cannot wait for the next episode to come round. All four leads are in top form (love the gals), and they truly hit every mark. It's going to be challenging to maintain a story-line, but really hope they succeed for at minimum a couple-three seasons. And since it's so short an episode it's hard to cram much into less than thirty minutes.. but sure wish they have the opportunity to get into performing more tunes, for they are one of the most enjoyable segments of the production. Season two was dead-on.. and got better as went on. Tight, interesting story-line, great acting, and more tunes that were well above average. Gigi can really make a video..(go on youtube and watch 'em.. they're all good). Unfortunate it's only a ten episode season.. but won't complain.. will gladly take whatever they dish out.

I heard about this show, after reading a article about shows that got a second season+I like Denis Leary. But this is just boring.A washed out rock-star from the 60s is making a comeback as a songwriter for his daughter. They throw out a lot of references to famous people, and take a dig at some of them, but it just don't get off the ground. The music is quite bad and boring, and the audience look like they are underpaid. The conflicts don't interest you neither does he characters It lack the bitter neurotic angry Denis leary that we all know from his stand up acts. Her he walk, talks and looks like he's on prozac. He is just too mellow for my taste,I like him when he sarcastic bitter and angry.

Hilarious, very real as to how these type of people really are, as I am familiar.Leary is fantastic but so is everybody else. What I would give to write on this show, so so many avenues these characters could go down that would be funny as hell and heartwarming. The hatred and love the band has for their leader, makes perfect sense in the genre.Love the daughter, funny and so darn cute. John Corbett is great too. Great job people!Oh, did I mention it is hilariously funny?
