Saved by the Bell Audience Reviews

AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Beanbioca As Good As It Gets
MusicChat It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
BeaconSky 'Saved By the Bell' focuses on a group of pretentious, entitled and shallow high school students whose repugnant behavior is always somehow justified at the end of the show. Deceptive, lying, cheating, insulting and rude behavior all forgiven by a hug and an 'I'm sorry' at the end of the episode only to do it all over again the next episode. The message this show sends? It's ok to behave reprehensibly as long as you say you're sorry afterwards. Keep impressionable kids away from this show.
Dave This sitcom is set in a high school in Los Angeles. It centres on six pupils: narcissist Zack, his dorky sidekick Screech, muscular jock Slater, hot girl Kelly, 'princess' Lisa and ardent feminist Jessie - as well as their headmaster Mr Belding. This is a sanitised view of high-school life, which avoids many topics which should be covered. Sex is never mentioned, there's no significant violence and there's no swearing. Some of the situations are far-fetched. It seems to be aimed at kids who are younger than the main characters. Screech's intelligence is very inconsistent. In some episodes, he is shown to be very intelligent - but in others he is shown to be stupid. On several occasions, a new character becomes a major part of an episode or two - yet then disappears without explanation and is never seen or mentioned again. Examples of this include the girl wrestler, the fat girl who pays for a date with Zack, Slater's girlfriend who arrives from Germany, the school nurse, the gold-digging girl and the homeless girl and her father. The reason for the absence of Jessie and Lisa in many episodes is never indicated to the audience. The episodes were originally shown with several of them out of order, which is noticeable from the continuity of the story lines and the ages of the kids in each episode. The British teenage shows Skins and The Inbetweeners are much better.
stlcardinalsfanstl Saved by the Bell simply is the greatest kids'/teens' show of all time. Every single episode, apart from the Miss Bliss season, is entertaining. The actors and their characters are amazing and make the show work perfectly. The show's episodes almost always have a theme of friendship. No matter what happens the group will be friends forever. It's a very lighthearted, fun show. I remember watching it every morning (7:00-7:30, and the the next three time slots if I faked sick ;), before school when I was in seventh and eighth grade. I just finished watching it on Netflix the other week and boy, it brings back some good memories. I don't know why it has a 7/10, though. Apparently every reviewer is a renowned critic. The show was never supposed to thrive because of spectacular acting; it was supposed to thrive off of its great cast and great themes/plots. Every episode was something new, and very rarely was there a continuity. All in all, this show is great. It makes the viewer happy. If you ever need to cheer up, turn on Saved by the Bell. :)
Maniac-9 Most of the story lines on Saved by the Bell were fairly unbelievable but I still have fond memories of waking up early on Saturday mornings when I was 13 to watch the newest episode, so it still has a fond place in my heart. If you're reading this, chances are you too remember the fun adventures high school provided for Zack, Slater, Screech, Kelly, Jessie, Lisa and their principal Mr. Belding in this late '80s to early '90s sitcom. It makes me laugh watching the show now seeing Zack Slater with his cell phone which you can kind of describe as a brick. But SbtB wasn't pure fluff they did tackle a lot of issues that teens deal with like relationships, tested friendships, pill popping, cheating, the new girl, fights, and its detentions. But then the fallback on that is they always resolved those issues in a 30 minute episode. The show was completely episodic with very little that happened in the previous episode carrying over into the next episode.
