Freaktana
A Major Disappointment
Frances Chung
Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Philippa
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Guillelmina
The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

...which made the crash so much harsher.I powered through until the end, giving it the benefit of the doubt until the final episode.I know this is a TV-show and there are bound to be creative liberties. But, the network has pushed that to the extent of...calling a show 'Mexico' but really making it about Brazil. 'SWAT' stands for 'Special Weapons and Tactics'. In this show, the 'special' is more akin to 'special-ed' than it is to 'special forces'. Don't even get me started on the acting or believability of the acting...that was also 'special'.Speeding and wheelie-ing a motorcycle through an intersection, jumping over cars, shooting from a hovering helicopter, running through a truck filled with explosives...they should have just called this show 'Call of Duty'. Honestly, where are the tactics?! I've seen a few reviews stating that this is meant as entertainment, which is true, but where is it?Script: Poor
Believability: Poor
Character Interaction: Wooden (at best!)
Acting Overall: AbysmalI don't care for the SJW movement or blah-blah-blah, but at least make the script and acting good. If you are going to make a show about police officers (detectives, K-9, or in this case, SWAT) then train your people. Hire people that can point out inconsistencies. No one makes a medical show where doctors go, 'hand me the plastic tube filled the the clear medicine-thingy!' or holds a scalpel by the wrong end, or mistakes the IV bag of a juice box.All of that may be over-reaching, but...I think it proves the point on how this TV-show doesn't really care because no one cares that police officers or SWAT is being portrayed incorrectly.I have really high hopes for this show because I liked Moore in Criminal Minds and I didn't hate the movie. However...this show...it's the Halle Berry of Catwomen...

Bad acting, bad storyline and just overall unrealistic!

I am not a crime tv show lover but I liked criminal minds so I gave this show a try. Now I don't miss a single episode. In my opinion this show covers all aspects of true crimes I can think of and I can't think of a better way to spend my Thursdays. I'm am most happy that this show express real concerns/problems of gender equality in Police institute and they also tackle other important social issues.
