Rogue Audience Reviews

ReaderKenka Let's be realistic.
Matrixiole Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Dennis Torhov 9/10 for seasons 1 and 2, at least they had a story line and more/less same set of characters. Season 3 and onward - like completely different series with different scenario, actors, atmosphere. WHO ARE ALL THOSE PEOPLE?????? WHERE THEY CAME FROM????Don't bother beyond season 2 and you'll be OK.-10 out of 10 for season 3 extended or season 4 (WTF again?)cant write any more lines of text not worth it sorry i mean really if someone can write more about this magnificent series - good luck to them but im all outta words but just wanted to warn others no to ruin their spare time watching this nonsense
bjarias Starting off with a very shaky couple-three episodes (to the point you're seriously questioning why you are still in the chair).. but the initially very dubious acting settles down in the middle and towards the end of season one. But then the way they wrap up the storyline finale in episode ten is just so awkwardly amateurish, it's almost like they had no clue as how to end it. Not that there was an absence of previous implausibles (beginning with a ninety-pound Newton as an undercover cop), but nothing close to the head-shakers finishing S1. Then the setup and bridge between S1 and S2 takes an excruciating four full episodes. And up till that point the ensemble of new characters (including the lead actor) can't adequately carry any of those episodes. Honestly, they're all pretty boring..lacking a solid storyline, or any truly interesting characters (good or bad) for the audience to get into. They just come off as near four hours of fill to get back to the main story...(which once again turns out to be very thin). Also it's another in a long list of shows that willingly insult the intelligence of its' audience by readily feeding it premises that are not believable, or at best exceptionally simple-minded. Season one was somewhat effective, but the second is just a mess...and so poorly written, it just ultimately winds up being bizarrely stupid. The third season once again lacks interest.. and for many the end of the series comes near the midpoint (S3E4)..from that point onward there's little incentive to continue... minus a solid script, they're mostly void of any merit. There are lots of shows deserving second and more seasons.. unfortunately this is nowhere near one of them.
jonnithomas The acting is acceptable and the script is OK. It's a good story that does have you interested in what is going to happen next . The characterisation is well done although some of the results are rather predictable. So it's got all the making of a very good series. That's until you start looking at the detail. The lead character is an undercover female cop who hunts down her young son's killer. This is where the problems start. She is pretty but looks ill. she is painfully slim and without muscle. In itself that's not a problem or wouldn't be if she wasn't playing a hard cop with an ability to take and give out rough justice. However, she receives injuries that would leave anyone incapacitated yet she gets up and shrugs it off. She has a car accident which she just walks away from with a limp when she would be lucky to survive. A fight scene where she kills her opponent after a bone breaking fight but after crying in a bath she walks around without any damage apart from a scratch and a bruise. She gets shot and after going ouch twice forgets it. So she seems to get hurt and the next day she is better again. One attempt to kill her from a guy on a motorbike has the rider hit the back of a parked car at speed. Next thing he is on the bike that somehow hasn't got bent forks/wheel and rides off after being thrown over the parked car.So at first the lack of realism can be overlooked but when an anorexic woman has no injuries repeatedly it loses credibility.such a shame. it could have been a really good series.
PlatoSays It took two attempts to get to the end of the first episode - the over-acting and sweary dialogue left me exhausted and not in a good way. When most of the scenes involve shoulder rolling swagger and shouting, it's rarely a good sign in my book.It had real potential re the concept, but like Red Widow hasn't got it right. I preferred RW but its been cancelled. I'm not sure how Rogue can survive as its going up a blind alley very quickly re the characters/plot. It may be burning itself out deliberately as the writers know something we don't.Great opening credits and music though.
