This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

I am incredibly impressed with this series. The drama, the intrigue, the cast, the sets and costume design. Since watching this I have done a bit of research and found the major key parts are accurate and the key cast, although the producers have taken some artistic license for dramatic affect, are generally true to the story of Mary Queen of scots. Its a shame the show ended and didnt carry through to her escaping scotland and trying to find sanctuary with her cousin Queen Elizabeth 1 then being betrayed.

I have always been the one to make a great deal of offense about a historically inaccurate show so i feel somewhat of a hypocrite saying that i love the show even though it soothes me to know that there is some level of accuracy in the show but that is not the reason why i love it so much. I believe that if the show were to be historically accurate it would have been mostly about politics and could have lost its appeal as its appeal mostly comes from the level of drama and the romance. Other than that the show also has a very productive cast. i for one believe that the one of the main reasons why i was so hooked on the show was because of the performances of the actors i was wspeciallyfond of Megan Follows the star who played Catherine de Merdici. So even though the show maynot be historically accurate it is a great source of entertainment and if the inaccuracy is getting on ur nerves i suggest u get past that because otherwise u would be missing out on a very entertaining and an evenful show with amazing character developments, plot twists and stories and creativity.

The wardrobe design is dreadful. Not only inaccurate but downright ugly. This show is for preteens.

I binged the first seasons shortly before the fourth season came out and its cancellation. It was intriguing and although some of the storylines were not quite like the history itself, it was a great show. I enjoyed Catherine and her antics, Mary and her resilience and Bash was just all round dreamy. The show prompt me into researching the history of Mary Stuart as well. I miss this show!!
