Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

Jonah Abbott There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Isbel A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

Benji Malcolm One thing I've always admired about Brian Fuller is that he's not at all afraid to try something different and risky. I would have loved to have seen the conversation between him and the TV company...BF: I wanna do a detective show. C: Great! A rugged cop, a hot female detective. Nice and cheap. Good ratings.BF: Actually I want it to be about a pie-maker who can wake the dead, in a world of extremely vibrant colours with kooky aunts, dogs, rhinos and sharks. And it should be largely CGI so that it looks kind of like a storybook. C:...right. (jumps out of a window)It's one of my favourite TV shows of all time. If you love artistic series with great acting and dialogue check this out. On a personal note, I find it easier to cope with no more Pushing Daisies, Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me by watching Fuller's new Hannibal series. It's dark, but you can still see that glimmer of wit and imagination that makes his work so irresistible.

let let Pushing Daises is one of the most interesting, unique, beautiful, colorful shows I ever had the pleasure to watch. I loved every minute of it, I just wish it didn't have to end, because the concept of the whole show was unique and charming like no other. Loved every second of it. It's really a shame that they had to cut such a great series so short, when it had everything to succeed, the fantasy around it, the characters, the narration, the colors, it's uniqueness made me really enjoy it, like few other shows did. It's late, but I really wanted to show my admiration for the series and everyone that helped to put it together. As well as my indignation towards its ending, because it really did have everything to go well.

stormcatcher-2 If you're familiar with Bryan Fuller's work ("Wonderfalls", "Dead Like Me", and probably the only decent bits of "Heroes", which was otherwise less than stellar), you'll probably like this. It has many of his usual tropes: strong-minded female characters (although this time around, he main character is male), at least one female character with a male nickname, dark humor, and an element of the paranormal.Be warned, though: more so than any other series he's worked on, this one purposefully goes over the top with its style. Justifiably described as a "forensic fairytale", the colors are vibrant and lush, the names and places whimsical, and the humor dry and offbeat - with the occasional bonus of a musical number courtesy of Kristin Chenowith, as Olive.In the end, maybe that's why "Pushing Daisies" didn't make it. In spite of the dark humor and semi-morbid subject matter, there's a much bigger sense of hopefulness and joy at work here, and under that candy-coated exterior, a surprising amount of depth. But you have to be willing to look for it a little - so if you have a short attention span or are otherwise fairly cynical and enjoy things like watching other people fail, you'll hate this series. Go watch one of the many horrible and formulaic reality TV shows that are unfortunately still out there.Luckily, the rest of us can buy this show on DVD and bask in its exuberance anytime we want. It's pie, all right. And it's absolutely delicious.

Bonnie Weiss (beatlesfan-107-527524) This show is everything, interesting, shocking, warm, lovable, mysterious, happily quirky. It's also most kinds of genres, romance, mystery, awesomeness, even cooking, really. It leaves u happy and wanting more. 2 seasons? That's just a crime against humanity. We need more!!!!! I normally hate main characters, and am a serious movie nerd and snob, but I love everything about this show. The main characters, chuck and Ned the side characters, olive and Emerson, and the aunts too. The only problem with this show? Too many loose ends!!!!! Neds dad, chucks dad? The whole ending!!!!??? GDR. Make more please! And watch it!! Please!! And let me tell you one more thing. There is nothing, nothing better in this world then curling up with a good piece of pie and a blanket and watching pushing daisies. Nothing better.
