There are women in the film, but none has anything you could call a personality.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

Cancelled,?Its truly a shame this show had so much potential. Separating itself from all the heaviness in the dc world and marvels TV show it actually brought a different perspective and silliness comic-book movies and shows are lacking.,was it perfect no but the ingredients were there to make a really good funny show with heart and as a comic book fan who is powerless wondered how normal or not so normal people worked around chaos that superhero n villains create .its such a shame i hope somehow it can be picked up by some other network

Lets keep this short by addressing the biggest issue with the show. There is not one likable character. There are plenty of other issues, but this is a big enough one to warrant not watching any more. I would recommend skipping Powerless.I give it 2 potatoes.

I wanted to like this so much...I thought the premise sounded good. However, there's not enough 'superhero' action at all, and the show really drags. It's one flat joke after another. It's like someone making raunchy jokes and then explaining them to you...ugh. I watched several episodes and didn't laugh once. There's nothing incredibly original here either, and the characters are overly stereotypical. There's also quite the liberal bias in the writing. An election joke about the electoral college? Really??? Do they not realize that they're alienating half the country with nasty little jokes like that? Am I watching SNL here? And the constant 'oh, you can't say that to a black man' cliché. Terrible. Guys, slavery has been over for 150 years. I'm sure the average black person would not immediately jump to 'racist! racist!' at someone making a whipping sound at everyone in response to 'whips them into shape' and 'I own you!' when winning at a game. Pathetic attempt at humor. Not even worth giving this show a chance. There are so many actually funny shows worth watching (like Angie Tribeca) that this will just be a waste of your time.

I feel this show is not something to go out of your way to watch, but if you're looking for a show to eat some time and not hit you emotionally, this is perfect. The show definitely gets better after the first two episodes (thus far), and it has some jokes that land surprisingly well, but don't have high expectations for it. Obviously the three big actors are often the best part of the show. I've watched every episode (mostly because I have insomnia), and I have never felt annoyed or even disappointed after watching an episode. I strongly believe my rating will increase to a 7 by the end of the first season. If they add new writers (and possibly directors), this show has the potential to be an 8.
