This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Rosie Searle
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Sarita Rafferty
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Rexanne
It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

I suppose we all saw this show many times as it runs and reruns on various TV stations for decades, at least where I come from. Still, I never had a chance to follow it from the beginning to the end in order. So I decided that it's time to finally do it. I wouldn't say it's one of the best shows of all time, but it definitely deserves its cult status and never grows old. I swallowed first season in one breath. British humor in one of its best appearances. Nice way for me to celebrate my 600th movie/series since I'm member of IMDb.8/10

Simply the best sitcom ever.I am naturalized American who grow up in Europe (Yugoslavia) in 80's and 90's. Watching OFAH was one of the things that marked our youth. Delboy, Trigger, Rodney, Grandad, Albert and Boycee are part of our folklore as much as they are in England.I cant think of better show when it comes to comedy than this one, I like Fawlthy towers , Couples and Peep Show but OFAH are something that happens every 100 yearsTogether with Sherlock Homes with Jeremy Brett and Inspector Morse with John Thaw these are the staples of British and European TV and as such they should be regarded as one of the greatest achievements of TV in modern history.

This series is the cream of the crop of British comedy with out a doubt! In many ways this program relates to how most of us lived in the late 70's and 80's and depicts the struggles and morals of the time with a twist of good old cockney humour! A timeless classic, one you can watch over and over and you still laugh out loud as if you are watching it for the first time! One of Sir David Jason's best performances! Although other classics include the notable Open All Hours as the character Granville. Nicholas Lyndhurst had his best moments on this show! Not farewell...just Bonjor.... You know it makes sense!

I have lived and breathed OFAH I remember being an 8 year old lad feeling sick crashed out on my couch watching OFAH, And no matter how ill I felt it always brought a smile to my face. OFAH is by far the best loved British comedy of all time and for good reason every single actor in this series and I mean every single actor in this comedy is at the top of there game. Del boy as the wheeler dealer market trader in the best role I believe he ever played. Rodney as his dippy younger brother struggling to find that perfect job or any job. And who could forget granddad who sadly passed away before the start of series 4. But was replaced with the equally brilliant uncle Albert. The series added so many characters over the 20 or years it ran and not a single one felt over used, out of place or became stale. This is a comedy series that brought so many elements to the table including love, friendship, family, honour, commitment and of course comedy. Oh the comedy who could forget some of the classic comedy that peppered the series I think del and trigger have to be the comedy duo of the century, I will never look at a wine bar ever again. If you haven't seen this beloved comedy series what are you still doing reading this, Go and hunt it down trust me you wont be disappointed. You can thank me later.
