Is Offspring coming back? If there is going to be a season 8 and if its the last one, PLEASE MAKE IT GOOD.

It would be a great show and I do love it but it would be better if they wouldn't of killed off so many characters randomly and if everyone would stop leaving the show 1 by 1 other than that I love it

What happens when you take Neighbors (oh when will they kill that show off?) and add thought bubbles?You get - Offspring!So we have Nina back with more disastrous decisions getting herself into even more trouble than before; yes comments above are accurate when they muse how on earth does anyone on this show survive their stupidity?The justification for Nina's decisions are simple; lust. Yes every desperate female doctor needs sex and lots of it just to survive life - think "The Box meets Young Doctors" for those familiar with pre-80's Australian TV.We can all only hope this will be the last season of this show, certainly if Asher fails to get a Logie next year so we can only hope she does not and this show about the brain dead gets canned after this season.We can only hope the Australian Clinical Psychology Association makes this show a part of any treatment plan for those suffering from the inability to make good decisions about their life.

It's hard for me to appraise "Offspring" because after two episodes, I don't really know what it's aiming at. Essentially, it's a relationship drama, but it also presents the inner thoughts of its central character (via voice-over), which suggests to me that it's attempting commentary on... what I'm not exactly sure.The set of relationships depicted are themselves bizarre, and presented together with dream and fantasy sequences, naturalism clearly is not the aim.Unfortunately, all I was left with was a group of people I cared nothing for, in a place and time I cared nothing about, doing stuff I cared nothing about. So clearly, I didn't like it. But beyond that, I don't even know if it was any good in any kind of more objective sense. I won't be watching any more of this any time soon.
