Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

Vikingane is a dark comedy based on the daily life of a viking tribe somewhere in Norway..violent and fecal oriented..not very PC.The tribesmen and their leaders appears to be influenced by modern positivist personal growth philosophies and soft leadership(sometimes) which stands at a stark contrast to their otherwise ruthless dealings with neighbors, slaves, women, friends, pigs, older family members.....and whoever else crosses their path. The actors all speak first class "Norwenglish".Heavy Norwegian accents floats on top of every phrase.Native English speakers may or may not get the joke......

Can't believe anyone would give this a thumbs down. Tired of seeing the Brits play other cultures. Ridiculous when actors from those original cultures are available to provide a true read on the spirit of their people. Funny, funny, funny! Good for your immune system, and educational as well.

Apparently everyone else enjoyed this, but I gave it 15 minutes and turned it off. I was looking for a show similar to Vikings and this was a huge swing and a miss. If I wanted to watch a comedy I would turn on The Office or Parks and Rec.. Personally, I don't know who in their right mind would waste time watching a comedy about "Vikings". If you're looking for a show with lots of action that's on the same level as Vikings this is absolutely not the show. Try watching Sparticus, Sons of Anarchy, or even Breaking Bad..

Norsemen surprised me; I was expecting a straight up ripping tale of sea-borne plunderers setting upon unfortunate towns and villages in search of spoils, sustenance, and given the current climate on the 'small' screen, perhaps some carnal conquests as well, I quickly realized that I was instead watching a fusion: a comic sensibility uniting personal growth, self-examination, and a bunch of navel-gazing 'crap' I'm too broken and un-caring of the current trends in twisting yourself into knots in search of new depths of sensitivity, guilt, generosity to your partner, community, world-with a narrative entirely in keeping with its Iron-Age setting....bloody, under-adorned life devoid of any modern accoutrements apart from the very aware dialogue, which renders the whole deliciously comic...love it!!!!
