Good , But It Is Overrated By Some

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

This is honestly one of the most brilliant and beautiful shows that I have ever had the absolute pleasure to watch. It is one of those shows that you can easily sit down and marathon through an entire disc or two in one sitting. The characters are really well fleshed out as this is more of a character driven show. The countryside setting isn't always my favorite but for Mcleod's I make an exception as Drover's run is now one of my favorite television show settings. The scenery is always breath-taking and the dialog is really intelligent as the conversation flows naturally. When disaster strikes it hurts the viewer to watch their favorite characters pass on, especially since the actors and actresses have hardly been on anything else it makes it all the more realistic when they depart (which is a shame because they are really talented actresses). The Australian landscape is hauntingly beautiful and adds to the seductive factor of the show. The characters leave too soon. The new characters (although they do take a bit of getting used to) end up stealing the show, especially Regan, Kate and Moira. The soundtrack is from an Australian singer- Rebecca Lavelle- and sometimes the actors of the show, such as Michala Banas, record their own songs for the show. The show is definitely one not to miss and if I wasn't going to spoil anything for you I would honestly chat with you for 10 hours straight on the entire series. An extremely underrated series please give it a watch.

first i have a question...why have you taken out the episode guides, who's been guest staring on them..i have found that very useful in the past to keep up with the episodes that have aired in Australia and how many more we have to catch up on here in Canada..and if i see a familiar face..i can go and look for either the actor's name or the character's name..i have also noticed that you have taken that out on other TV shows as well....who the guest stars are......they should be put back in..i love the series..i think that we have about 10 episodes left of 2005..and then we will catch up to 2006..wherever they are in the series..it's on every Friday night..(mostly) for me, and i look forward to it being on..it's one of my favourite shows....i will miss nick though.....but i do understand if he wanted to leave the series and try for something else..i'm looking forward to getting to know the new guy..and i think that Dave and Kate as a couple are great..if only she'd wake up to the fact..(wont' give it away with the eppy that i saw) for the other people....but the couple that i really want are Stevie and Alex..i'll always think that he belongs with Claire..but since she's gone....awe...i think that it's been on two years for us now...or something like that.....but we are pretty much caught up to where they are...in so many ways this reminds me of the series country practice....which i'm sorry that it's gone...i just loved it..susan

I'm watching McLeod's Daughters since the first broadcasting here in Holland. That was in October of this year. Since then, I haven't missed a single episode!It's very realistic drama. Sometimes a bit too obvious, but that makes it fun to watch.It's on TV every workday here in Holland, so it's my dinner series, and since I live alone, it's great 'company'.I can really recommend everyone to watch it. Not only for the characters (how I will miss Claire...) but also the beautiful landscapes and the intriguing story lines.Don't miss it!

This is the story of two daughters that together with some other woman drives a farm in Gungellan, Australia. I think this drama is a wonderful production!! It is one of the best I've seen! The story is realistic and fun. And it's even great to see that women can drive a farm.You can see yourself in the characters, it's not like a typical soap where people do mad things every now and then. The nature is beautiful, as usual, in the scenes. Every set has an on theme, so you won't know what will happen in the next program. I think the best program were when Claire gave birth to little Charlotte.You have to see it to know why:)
