It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

"King Of The Hill" is arguably the most realistic cartoon ever made. It's not just the settings, it's that the animation is unbelievably realistic. Mike Judge has more or less proved more so than any other cartoonist that we truly live in a wonderful world and there are plenty of things in it! That seems impossible, seeing as how he's perhaps the most religious cartoonist out there. Someone's a moron in this equation. Technically, he's done a lot to promote secular humanism and really does deserve some award for it. There was one episode where Luann saw an angel but it was ambiguous if it was just in her imagination. The characters appeared in an episode of "The Simpsons"...even though the creators said these shows don't take place in the same Universe. I absolutely refuse to believe these shows take place in the same Universe, because it is impossible for Simpsons characters to ever appear in an episode of "King Of The Hill".So what can I really say about the show? Well, it really comes off as very average. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's really how I feel. I mean, I really don't see anything wrong with the show given how realistic it is, but I don't see anything right with it as it doesn't do much as a cartoon in itself. I can't really be against it because it accurately portrays real life. I want to promote reality and this is a good way of doing it. The characters aren't really bland, they're just very realistic. Dale is probably the funniest with his zany ideas. There are definitely funny moments, there just don't seem to be that many. It doesn't come off as that good when I first found out about it. Anything new seems good. So, would I recommend this show? Well, yeah. I mean, it's so weird how it truly is a unique cartoon in that it's probably the least unique cartoon ever made. I think it should have more jokes like "Beavis And Butt-Head". If you want a realistic cartoon that's very funny, go watch "Bob's Burgers", even though the characters look like Muppets. **1/2 out of ****, simply because I want to go in the middle.

MY AGE RATING: 10+ Mild language, drug/alcohol/smoking.I saw the Thanksgiving episode on Adult Swim. It describes the whole show- sucky. It was just the family running back to the airport, back to the car, running back and forth in the airport they were in, because their flight was cancelled. Nothing was funny, or special. The propane salesmen and his family are just.... too normal.Heck, even Family Guy is better. Sorry Mike Judge, this is your bad side. Coming from the same world as Beavis and Butthead, the two series are different, this one being more appropriate, but it could be funnier.Want something decent? Watch any B&B, or Idiocracy(movie, but rated R).Summary: I tried to laugh, but no.

I don't even know where to begin to describe how pathetic, annoying and lame this show is. But if there was an award for most annoying TV show on earth, this show would win above and beyond all others. It seems the concept is to surround Hank Hill with the most annoying characters ever conceived. They've succeeded. They've also managed to make the central character just as annoying.Like Beavis and Butthead, the artwork looks like it was drawn by a right-handed 1st grader using his left hand with his eyes closed. Hank looks like my ass upside-down with eyes and Bobby looks like a human turd. Then there's the voices. Did they put an ad in the paper calling for people with voices that can make people's skin crawl? I can't understand how people can watch this show and not vomit. Hank sounds like an idiotic douche, his wife's voice and accent makes me want to jump off a bridge, Bobby's voice sounds like he just swallowed sand and Hank's highly annoying live-in niece's voice could probably cause blindness.Watching this show is like watching a contest to see who can annoy the Hell out of you the most. And in most cases they all win. That boy ain't right, that boy ain't right, that boy ain't right, pro-pain, pro-pain, pro-pain, piggy hell, piggy hell, piggy hell. This show, it's characters, the voices and the "drawings" have brought suck to a new level.

This show was great! The characters were well developed and the story lines usually were funny and witty. Some episodes I found a bit ridiculous, but overall it was an amazing show. Bobby was probably my favorite character. They ended this show and now we have crap like the Cleveland show. But King of the hill will remain a favorite of mine, and all the better that It's now on Netflix. If you haven't sen it, give it a go. It's fun and family friendly, unlike some cartoon shows like South park and Family guy (Don't get me wrong, I love South park and family guy, though I wouldn't call them family friendly shows) RIP King of the hill.
