Jeopardy is a BAFTA award-winning British television series which ran for three seasons, from 2002 to 2004, on BBC One. It was created by Tim O'Mara who also directed, and all three series were produced by Andy Rowley, with Richard Langridge as executive producer for Wark Clements. It has aired numerous times on the ABC Kids segment, RollerCoaster. The series was produced for CBBC Scotland and filmed on location in both Scotland and Australia. CBBC currently have no plans for it to be re-aired, the last re-run being in 2008. In 2002, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awarded the first series Best Children's Drama. Jeopardy still airs in Australia on ABC3 and, as of 10 September 2010, ABC1.

GazerRise Fantastic!
CommentsXp Best movie ever!
Abbigail Bush what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Loui Blair It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
DJ Donnelly Jeopardy is about a group of eight secondary-school students and their teacher Gerry from Falkirk academy, who travel to the Australian bush to look for UFO activity. They are given camcorders to record any sightings, and the series (much like the Blair Witch Project) makes extensive use jerky footage supposedly from the hand-held cameras.
westonian2003 Hey everyone. With regard to getting the BBC to put Jeopardy onto DVD, I emailed the BBC and they replied with this. They said that if there is enough public interest in a show, then there is a high chance that they will put it onto DVD. Just think - we don't need to wait for repeats to come onto the CBBC channel. I for one miss them due to work which is unfair. I've seen the whole series before when it was shown on BBC2 (i was hooked to it). I've already emailed the BBC asking to put the entire series onto DVD so the more people who email them or write to them, then the more chance they will put it onto DVD and make us all happy. Thanks Everyone ;-D
cow-facts This is one of my favourite programmes ever! yes, its a kids programme, but its an exciting, engaging plot with some great acting in it which is worthy of a more than it was given. For those who never saw it, it was about these school children from Scotland who went on a trip to Australia with the UFO club in search of aliens.Although i missed the first series i got into it pretty quickly. I was drawn in by the cliffhangers *crhhhhhh* and just had to know what happened next!As well as the sci-fi element it also draws influence from Blair witch project style filming. It also can stand in its own right as a brilliant drama as you watch the group deal with the ordeal. It has it all time travel, alien diseases, cute actors, beautiful scenery, exciting plot....what more could you want? You'll never see red eye on your photographs the same again!
wilson-1 After the first episode, we're so looking forward to seeing each and every episode of Jeopardy. Charli Wilson who made an amazing screen debut in the magical "LUNAR GIRL", is a superb new actress who has a flair for pulling you into the character and taking you on a rollercoaster of emotions, and with the outstanding Paul Wroblewski directing and a fine cast of young new (mainly Scottish) actors in this unusual story, I think the BBC has a hit on it's hands.
