A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

While one of the dumbest shows ever made, it certainly is very funny. Jamie Kennedy is essentially portraying himself as him wanting to be a rapper in real life. He goes around trying to get hired by an agency to be a rapper. It's essentially him portraying his character in Malibu's Most Wanted, except they mention how he's in Son Of The Mask, and they interview real people so he can get the job of a rapper. I find Jamie Kennedy a very funny guy, and here he's not any less funny than he has been before. Kennedy is still going strong, showing enormous comedic talent, and making the best out of the stupidity he has to work with. A comedy shouldn't have to be extremely smart or original, and Blowin' Up shows that. Kennedy makes his character, or himself likable, and makes the show extremely funny despite the stupid, formulaic plot. I can't say it's the greatest show ever made, but it's certainly more than funny enough. A lot of comedy shows revolve around the great build up. This is what makes Blowin Up' great is that it doesn't have to have a great build-up.
