Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

This poor effort is an anemic version of Castle. It has the same general direction, without the witt, charm, humor or staying power of the afore mentioned show. I have watched the first 13 episodes, but will be deleting this program from the dvr record list.

All this show needs is better writing, better acting, and believable plots. Oh, and some chemistry between some of the characters.

Depending how much the writers develop Alan cumming's character as a gay husband, I think this show will struggle. There's a disproportionate amount of gay characters on television compared to real life. Some of us are a little bored of it.
