And to get enough content in this review to get it posted I will fill the following with things that are more worth one's time than watching THIS show. Watching paint dry, licking fire hydrants, vacuuming your cat, inhaling your own farts, staring at the sun (don't actually do any of these), listening to Bachman Turner Overdrive backwards to find satanic words, learning the accordion, watching soccer, learning Klingon, shaving your cat, shaving your cat while vacuuming your cat, listening to speed metal covers of Barbara Streisand songs.

michellemartn Despite their economic situation and family dysfunction this family loves one another. While I don't agree with some of their lifestyle choices (beauty pageants for little girls)Mama June and Sugar bear do 'their' best for their children- and that's all we can do as parents with what we have and when we have it. The children are happy to entertain themselves with the very basics - a mud hole- and aren't the spoiled, self entitled, self obsessed, middle class norm. These people aren't flip and ignorant,(maybe a bit uneducated) but have a good sense of right and wrong and how to enjoy their lives. To quote Mama June "It is what it is". Love it!

lisawatson1982 this is an amazing show I've been watching all episodes on a continues loop for over 3 month never get board of it just cant wait for season 4 and many more PLEASE NEVER STOP FILMING HONEY BOO BOO this is the best show ever some people don't like the show and slag it off so just don't watch it but people don't need to slag them off and call them if there happy and making memories then what does it have to do with anyone on how they live and what they do I have seen what some write calling the girls thick and stupid has anyone thought that its all the schools fault not the girls every one in the world has faults and had brain dead times but does that make everyone dumb in their own way its still best show and hurry with season 4

Yet they are fully authentic: The family is from the psychological perspective absolutely functional, they like to live together, support themselves and enjoy life full of fun. They are able to communicate without problems, love and support themselves. They are not the undead from the self help books "Get Rich Quick". They are just amazing. They love fun, little pranks, have absolutely amusing lines. Yes, this family is absolutely funny.The critics sometimes say the people who watch this show enjoy their intellectual superiority over these "rednecks". No, sir: You should totally envy them. In case you don't get it you have probably chosen the fate of "I will sell this house today" self motivation self programming zombie life of Carolyn Burnham over the authentic life of Lester Burnham from the American Beauty. Make no mistake: This is the very same thing. Many corporate zombies and / or gangsters just cannot understand why would one decide to sit on his yard and have a couple of beers with friends when you may invest your life more wisely into the career or warfare. But they do not understand this mentality makes the slaves from them. The folks from the series have a lot of friends and lots of fun. Yes, they do not have their multimillion dollar villas but what is the point of having multiple of them when you do not live in them at all? This view of America of plain yet loving and funny folks is so new and very refreshing. Their simple life is not the the one which should be despised: The life of "Wolf of the Wall Street" is. It is empty, hollow, predatory and narcissistic. Sometimes when you watch the TV you think the Americans are psychopathic militarists, self centered nationalists, ruthless and merciless capitalists and do not care about anything but money. Well: Series like this do save their face as a humans. Thanks to folks from the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo you look more like humans.
