I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

I didn't find this show until it was on Netflix and I'm sorry that it took so long to find. I love it!!! Its nice to have something lighthearted to watch. Life is already way too stressful why add more. I've already binge watched it three times (my life is full of a little too much reality right now) and I like it more every time. I love the 'love triangle' aspect with the 'under dog' winning. I absolutely love the character Wade. He's deep and caring while coming off as a jerk (in the beginning) but he grows so much throughout the series and Zoe starting off as a New Yorker with a entitled attitude becoming more down home and happy. I have to give props to the person who did the soundtrack for this series. They picked all the perfect songs/music for everything. As I said, I love this show

What is there to say? I absolutely love this show. I was looking for something a little different than your run of the mill Drama. This "Dramedy" has not let me down yet. Coming from a small town, Hart of Dixie reminds me of that quaintness and drama that come from living in a small town where everyone knows everyone. The way the characters are intertwined you are always being surprised, I know I am anyway. This is a definite change of pace. Not one of those Television series that set a bad example for people of all ages. It is fun, witty and brilliant. I am going to have to subscribe to Hulu, because there are only three seasons on Netflix. Rachel Bilson is perfect. Her character and personality go great together and I do not think they could have found a better match for Dr. Zoe Hart. If you want a show that is fun for the whole family, then Hart of Dixie is definitely a show that you want to consider starting to watch. Even if you are inside because of nasty weather of sickness, it is worthy of a Netflix binge. Not my favorite show by any means, but it is top 5 for sure.

So happy we finally found this series! (Unfortunately it wasn't until after it was canceled; So sorry CW!) Just finished Season 1 on Netflix and find the series refreshingly entertaining! The writing & acting is superb! There is far more realism in this show and its depiction of small town life than what big-city people might believe! The hokey and delightful traditions of fictional "Bluebell" aren't unusual in small town America. Exaggerated? A bit; it adds to the humor. I think calling it a medical 'dramedy' is a mistake, though. 95% percent of the show is about the characters themselves, and Zoe's relationships, not about confronting the latest health maladies. Zoe's treating patients forces them to meet, get to know her. This is not Marcus Welby meets Scrubs. It's a sign of the times that this highly entertaining family show, with characters who are believable and likable, and who we've come to care about, would be given the heave ho for another show about zombies. Hmmm...maybe if they'd turned Wade into a zombie.....(j/k). Kudos to CW cast & crew of this show!!

I tried watching this show not once but twice! I originally watched it out of boredom and forgot why I never watched a second episode then went back over to this show again a few years later over the reviews and let me tell you awful doesn't quite do it justice.Let's start from the beginning, the lead actress was great on the O.C. but is an absolute terror here. She seems to act like a spoiled débutant rather then anything even remotely resembling a medical professional. The other actors aren't too shabby, they play along pretty well. The unforgivable thing is the script, whoever wrote the lines for this show needs to be fired immediately. No sense of rhythm, no sense of wit, absolutely nothing clever about the scripting. It's like watching a stale show from the 50s.If you want to portray the south as a bunch of stuck in the past small town people that's fine, it's not original but that's not a crime. However shredding the wit out of the southern people is unforgivable and that's exactly what the writer for this show did. 2/10 because come on I've seen better writing from 1st graders.
