Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated

Jason (jevga82) Good Day Live has been cancelled. And it's about time! It was a mistake for Fox to fire Jillian Barberie. To make it worse, they fire Dorothy Lucey, the other Original host. Then they get two rejects as replacements, and try to boost the ratings. It didn't work, obviously. Before it's sad end, ratings were down 10 percent from a year ago, when Ms. Barberie was hosting. That's what Fox gets for not knowing talent when they see it. In the beginning, the show was actually a great spin-off of Good Day L.A.. But then it started airing "trash" stories I.E. "Tabloid Thursday." The success of "Good Day Live" is contributed to the chemistry between Steve Edwards, Dorothy Lucey, and Jillian Barberie. Hate them or love them, (or both) they made the show what it was for over ten years. Without the three of them together, the show was never the same.

McEnroe1977 I used to watch 'Good Day Live' when it first premiered on television, but after watching for about 2 weeks I couldn't watch a whole show anymore. Dorothy Lucey's voice was just too hoarse to listen to, Jillian Barberie's unnecessary questions to guests and dumb comments were too much to listen to, and Steve was the only bright spot of the show whenever he got the chance to get a word in. Now they have Debbie Matenblahblahblah and Arthel Neville. Debbie tries so hard to be funny it isn't funny at all. Arthel Neville comes off as a snobby, know-it-all who couldn't be funny if she tried and I think she has tried on a few occasions. Steve continues to be the only bright spot. Unfortunately, I hope this show is canceled.

carmex How this show has lived on so many years, I will never figure out. Not only are the hosts completely self-centered, unprofessional, and downright obnoxious...but there is a revolving door of hosts! Good Day Live is a one hour "entertainment news" program, yet there is nothing entertaining about the filth they report. I cannot even call it news because their biggest headlines always include celebrity gossip from tabloids! I shouldn't even call it an hour, because by the time they stop talking about THEMSELVES and actually read the prompter, 20 minutes have passed. The only slightly amusing factor in the show is that all the hosts so obviously and completely hate each other. Stay away, far, far away.
