I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.

The first thing you look at are the skirts of the girls. They are shorter than the one of Ally Macbeal. I guess they have too make some scenes a hundred times till they get it, without showing the panties. Sometimes you see, that Katie Sheridan is wearing panties in the same colour as the skirt (for hiding). For example in the first episode of season four you can see the pink panties of Victoria Longley, while she is running down the school floor. The girls are real pretty and good actors. The rest of the crew are also good very good, but they and the simple storyline are not the reason, why people watch this. In the end the Genie in the house is for 12 year old girls and 16 year old boys who like Katie Sheridans wonderful legs.

My sister usually watches shows on either Disney channel or nickelodeon. The shows on Disney are horrendous and the shows on nick are more intelligent. Until this came along.Genie in the house. It is an atrocity. I can't make out whether the show is British or very bad American. The show focuses on some very badly acted genie named adil his face is so orange he might as well have been made in a wotsit crisp factory. Basically it just follows that plot and the wishes the girls make. Which are quite bad actually. If anyone had a genie they would wish to make the world bow to their feet or have mind control or something. But the girls are the only good thing about this show their acting is slightly passable. And the brunette is quite attractive. So all in all don't watch it unless you like either of the girls.

I think this is a charming show. I work in a junior school and many of the children are talking about it so I watched it! It is innocent fun, the girls are pretty, the genie is very appealing and Dad and Uncle Max are always good natured, even when trying to be cross!! The story-lines seem to cover a lot of childhood wishes, to be a dancer or a singer, to play tricks on their teachers, have pets that talk, to be fashion icons or simply to believe in magic. Children need this kind of 'fantasy' fun and I can quite see why so many of them are becoming fans. Obviously it is NOT aimed at adults or critics or whatever, but for goodness sake if you don't like it - watch the news! Let the kids BE kids and enjoy a bit of innocent make-believe fun.

Can Nickeloden please cease bothering trying to make British programmes for the channel. Renford Rejects, Laugh Out Loud and now this, all of them are absolutely horrendous. The acting in this programme is extremely poor, the story lines are poor, and for British actors (looked it up) what the hell are the accents really about? Do we really sound like that, heaven forbid.Absolute rubbish. Up against the American programming, it is absolutely embarrassing. Please, Nicelodeon, please stop making a fool out of this nation with such abysmal programming.I don't even get the setting. Is it based in England? Where did the genie come from?
