Wonderful character development!

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Lidia Draper
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Mandeep Tyson
The acting in this movie is really good.

Stories about Garfield the cat, Odie the dog, their owner Jon and the trouble they get into, and Orson the Pig and his adventures on a farm with fellow farm animals. If you love the new tv shows that has been aired on a few channels around the globe you should also check out the original one from 1988 which was also very fun. The animation on this one is of course better but that doesn't mean that the new one isn't good and if you love Garfield as a character? This show won't disappoint you at all trust me it's still pretty fresh and all new... (10/10)

Travel back in time to the days when Garfield was genuinely funny. When Ronald Regan's presidency was in its finest hours. This makes me wish I lived then. The comedy was funny I listen to the Buddy bears theme 24/7 Binky just makes me hyper. Lorenzo Music acted well. Everything was just right. Not generic, not cliché. Just right. The voice acting is great. The music is great. The cartoon artwork is great. Garfield and Friends is without a doubt a great show and is completely pure. No doubt in my mind. This show never fells to entertain. This is everything ALL tie in shows at the time should have been. A valiant effort to capture the spirit of the source material. No idiots, no bad plots. Everything was near perfect. Combating certain modern shows in that field.

"Garfield and Friends" is a great show, based on a great comic strip. I just loved how funny, creative and original it was. If I had a disappointment though, and this has been mentioned by many other reviewers, I didn't think the "US Acres" (or "Orson's Farm") segments were as witty or as fun. But there were some fun characters, Wade the Duck was my favourite, and there have been some good moments. But everything else is first rate. The cartoon animation is wonderful, really nice to look at and very colourful. The theme tune is wonderful, and hummable even after a long time. And I love the characters, the lazy Garfield, adorable mischievous Oadie, narcissistic Nermal and goofy Binky The Clown. And the voice work was superb, Lorenzo Music(R.I.P) owned the character of Garfield and part of the reason why I love the show so much. The scripts are dry and witty, full of hilarious asides uttered by Garfield mostly, and the story lines are a lot of fun. In conclusion, this is a great cartoon classic, with something for everyone! 9/10 Bethany Cox

Along side with The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, and Tiny Toon Adventures, Garfield and Friends was my absolute favorite cartoon growing up. It was one of the last enjoyable shows on CBS' Saturday Morning lineup (although a lot of the humor I didn't understand until I got a bit older). I mean, who didn't enjoy sarcastic, troublemaking Garfield, dimwitted but lovable Odie, annoyingly cute Nermal (who I used to think was a girl LOL), and their eternally unlucky owner, Jon? And the U.S. Acres? I loved them, too. Although looking back, I think Bo Sheep was my favorite, with his cool and collect attitude (who wouldn't want that?) I also enjoyed practical-joker Roy Rooster and scared-for-no-reason Wade Duck. This show was one the best ever to be put on the airwaves and I watched it until the very end. God bless all those involved with its creation, but especially Jim Davis who was the genius behind this show (and equally hilarious comic books and specials) and to the late Lorenzo Music, who magnificently brought the voice of its humble star to life. Rest in peace, Lorenzo.
