Maxmacrubymimi Why is this junk on Nickelodeon? Fanboy and Chum Chum is a show about two so- called "superheroes" who wear their underwear over their pants like some black rappers do. Their theme song is abysmal. "Brainfreeze...bababowbowbowbowbowbowbababowbowbowbowbababow cuckoo and crazy cuckoo and crazy FANBOY AND CHUM CHUM!!!" The WPM is approximately 240, and I agree with the poster who said that that 240-WPM is so fast it's mind-boggling.The plot? Well, let me just say that it's stupid. The humor isn't funny and revolves around farting in people's faces, burping, toilets, and bodily functions. In one episode Fanboy wants to do magic just like that wizard kid on that show. He farts in the guy's face, then calls it "magic." The janitor drives a toilet, too. Fanboy and Chum Chum act like superheroes and they try to help people, but they don't. This show rots.

jediforce10 I'm going to admit that I never heard of this show up until I saw some reviews of it. I decided to look up episodes on YouTube and am now asking the one thing many others were asking about this show. How did this get on the air in the first place? Fanboy and Chum Chum centers around two kids who go out and have "adventures" with their friends around town. Not only is the premise weak, but the way it's handled makes you wonder how this show ever got the green light. The main characters, Fanboy and Chum, are not interesting in the least bit and are as annoying as you can get with as protagonists. All they do is yell, scream, act really stupid, and are insane beyond belief. The other supporting characters are honestly no better either. Except for Kyle and Lenny, these two are the ONLY good characters and are the only ones with intelligence and common sense in the show. I feel so bad for them since Fanboy and Chum Chum drive them insane and ruin their lives. Also what's with the names of the characters? Fanbot? Chum Chum? Yo? Who's naming these characters anyway? There are also many characters that are "parodies" (I use that tern lightly) like Poopintine, The Dollar-nator, and so on. If these are supposed to be funny parodies, then this show fails at doing so then since it acts more like an insult than being funny. The stories are rather uninspired and bland, but sometimes they are so stupid it's not even funny. Such episodes like Oz being hypnotized or Fanboy, Chum Chum, and Kyle climbing a mountain on top of a convenience store not only sound bad, but are really bad. The jokes are nothing more than something involving potty humor or other forms of crude humor. They pretty much rely on these kind of jokes 99% of the time and it gets so monotonous. Aside from crude humor, this show relies on jokes that have been overdone or very predictable to the point where you can realize where a "joke" is going before it even began. There's also a lot of wacky cartoony sound effects that are also overdone and are always used in every scene of the cartoon. It reminds me of Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, but the difference is that Ed, Edd, n' Eddy was funny and this show isn't. The artwork is just dreadful to look at and the colors are overblown. While the sets MAY look decent enough, the characters have ugly and very bizarre designs to them that make them look unappealing. The animation is no better at all with characters barely having any movement and lip syncs are off most of the time. I would go into more detail about this show, but do I really need to say anything more? This show should not be seen by anyone at all. I've heard this show has been given the ax, but I'm not sure if it is or not. If it is, then good riddance. If not, then avoid at all costs and block Nickelodeon until this show is off the air. All I can say is please do anything else then watch this show. Go outside and get some fresh air, read a book, play a game, or even jump off a bridge. Just don't watch this show unless you value your mind and sanity.

drbrosco I am shocked at all the bad reviews of this hilarious cartoon. What has happened to people's sense of humor when it comes to being silly??? I am a grown man that has an 18 yr old daughter i have raised on my own, so I know all about the cartoons Nick has shown over the last 18 years & Fanboy & Chum Chum are right there near the top when it comes to bringing lots of laughs. Sure Fanboy & Chum Chum are silly as can be but I don't watch cartoons to be educated or anything other than to laugh & these characters do a great job of making me laugh. I also love how they title a lot of their episodes from movie titles but with a twist & do actual parody's of movies in some episodes So if laughter & silliness without having to think is what you like then your gonna love Fanboy & Chum Chum.........brainfreeeeze!!!!!!!!!!!

keenan_peck what the heck did I just watch? I want my life back. This show is so stupid and so unoriginal that I swear, it blew my mind to pieces!! These 2.......abortions must die. Everything about this show is as fun as inhaling an alien's anal air waste. You would rather join Al-queda than watch this piece of flying green elephant diarrhea in space. Do not let your child see a single frame of this show/fail. I hate this show, we all do. Kids will be poisoned by....this.
