jkylebennett I happened upon this show while channel surfing. It only took me a few minutes to see just how cheaply made the series is. The special effects are cheap and ineffective. All they do is remove you from any immersion that they could ever try to build, not that it could ever hold your attention. The acting is absolutely dreadful. It's abysmal. There's no good transition between scenes and the characters sound as bored with their roles as any audience member would be to try to watch this. It's quite clear that this was supposed to be a Wizards of Waverly Place ripoff, and that's exactly what it is. Nick wanted to cash in on the craze, but clearly didn't dedicate any budget to the series due to a lack of faith in the project. There are even times when there's no background music where there should be to offer some sort of dramatic tension. Also, every scene is way over saturated. Either their filming had problems, or they just went for the cheapest materials they could find and then over edited it in some video editing software. This series truly is like a really bad soap opera. If that's what they were going for, then they succeeded. But, if not, they have failed in every way possible and made one of the worst series every put on Nickelodeon.

Where the hell were you going with this garbageno one asked for season 4. No one is even watching your show at this point. Some dumb love triangle and a new character won't help your show get better. no one asked for season 5. This is your season finally and you decided to add another show to nickelodeon that sounds like yours, acts like yours, and probably has the same creator. but it has to do with cooking. And magic spice drugs.Plz let this end. No more.

They set up a way to move the storyline but don't follow thru. in the third season They introduce Mia the brain trust and the crystal calibarnoThe way i would have wrote it. They claim Emma is the chosen1 the crystal steals the power of all witches. now Emma and Maddie were join by a crack crystal. When the crystal was connected with the 3rd piece and became Mia protection against witches The power of the chosen one should have been split into 3 Mia + Maddie + Emma. The crystal now work as merging the kanay(Mia) with Maddie + Emma. Could this be season4? In season 3 last episode why did Mia go back and help Emma when she want to see Emma destroyed. Now they set up hexy he now has witch-like powers hexa history the book was part and created by the brain trust that the father was a part of. Is the brain trust part of the magic realm. Does the father really know about magic and he should he married the mother who is a know witch. Also diego being the last of the kanay. GIGI should also be a kanay as well as the parents/cousins h2o. Also how does the restaurant with the name 7 can tie with the kanay. Also no answer to how or why Maddy mom lost her power. They is also a reason to make amon a power hungry wizard who want full control is he working with jax dad. I wish they let me tweak season 4 but i expect it to be as bad as always

serenasheets I am a 35 year old mom, and the first time I watched this show was with my 6 year old daughter. Now I am not sure which one of us is more excited to see the next episode. Magic is mysterious and an instant draw for kids. Plus anything with high school kids will be interesting for younger kids because they can't wait to be big themselves. Although some the acting may be a bit over dramatic, that makes it fun. Younger kids like over dramatic, and that also makes it easy for kids to know when someone is doing something wrong versus when someone is doing something right. This show is silly and fun and has some hidden lessons kids don't even realize they are getting. Although older kids may think it is lame, this show is perfect for my six year old, and her 35 year old mom.
