Absolutely the worst movie.

It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

So many reviews - what can I say? I think this has fun and inventive story lines with pseudo-science that doesn't become too ultra-ridiculous (as in Warehouse 13). Very well acted (particularly Ferguson) with interesting characters; the single outstanding weakness being the usually reliable Frewer. Why on earth didn't they employ an Australian actor to play an Australian? Not even sure why they wanted an Australian character (and I'm Australian). Was this a response to Crocodile Dundee? Frewer's accent is incredibly bad - the worst attempt I've ever heard - totally cringe-worthy. and his acting is also (unusually) terrible. I have discovered this series only well after it had finished and the discovery delights me. I'm assuming it's American, but it's up to the standard set by Canadian series of Sci-Fi and fantasy (although Warehouse 13 was a mistake!) If this is also new to you; buy all seasons.(Added later). Have since found this was made in Canada - should have realised, Canada has been the source of most good (well, not always, but most of the time) Sci-Fi in this century, following on from Stargate. A further thing I like is that although initially episodic, generally speaking, story arcs develop and become more significant as the show developed from season to season. And the characters also developed from season to season - important for the show's vitality.

Eureka is a true Sci-Fi gem that has only gotten better with time. I was incredibly upset when they originally were going to finish the show after only four seasons but thankfully they changed their minds and finished the series with a fifth. It gave the viewers a sense of closure. You get very invested in the character development which is one of the shows big draw cards. They are well developed and perfectly casted. It would not have been such a success if you couldn't tune in each week to see what sort of hi-jinx the residents of Eureka had gotten up to.Aside from the characters the episodes are interesting. There is a main plot line throughout the series but each week usually focuses on a different crisis relating to a new technology. The ideas are innovative and revolutionary. It certainly doesn't ever feel stale. A definite must watch series.

Eureka, that's actually all you have to say. There are episodes which are pretty awesome, and you can't just stop watching it,but then there are some you just want to end. I found most of them in the last 2 seasons. Eureka is all in all very solid and has some really really good episodes which i totally enjoyed. But in my humble opinion there are characters who are totally uninteressting. The endless lovestory of Allison Blake and jack carter totally kicks it off. I had some moments where i hated the characters, but all this sounds so negative, every episode has awesome moments as well or just hilarious funny. Like jack and sarah the neverending discussion of them. Or how zoey get smart i mean this is pretty well done. 8/10 because i enjoyed it really good

Its not quite "great" scifi , but its fair to good in the end, some episodes really are lacking and you can tell the budget difference between a show like this and fringe that ran together near the same time. The acting is fair, with some ups and downs, but you can tell the producers loved to give shout outs to other whimsical and scifi related materials. The only spoiler I will give you, is if you were a fan of "The Guild" its fun to see the carryover on this show between Whil Wheaton and Felicia Day.In the end, Eureka rambles a bit and the story lines are uneven, but hey, its mostly Original fun.Silverkelt
