Awesome plot and the story wasn't prolonged which is a rare thing in a show and a good thing. Heartbreaking ending and the best ost i ever heard. I recommend to you. theanimeduch Personal opinion and facts. 13 episode show dubbed and subbed the dub is well not great I hear the sub is better huh. Characters are Lucy,Kouta, Yuka, Mayu, Nana, Kurama, Bando, Mariko. Story girl escapes secret facility loses memory of who she is and how to speak finds Kouta he hides and protects her from whoever is looking for her regains memories protects him from harm leaves and disappears without trace.Aired in 2004. Story was amazing but the voice for the characters didn't do well. Honestly this is like school days but dubbed. Don't get me wrong the story is great but the dub it was awful. This show is not all bad compared to School Days.Overall this is a tremendous show it doesn't lack anything but a good dub. The first episode the first few minutes is amazing, except if you hate blood

kiranadith Very nice anime I wish there were more episodes and Lynn Okamoto continue this but there is only 13 episodes, but these episodes contain all emotions that one would find in any long anime, contains a lot of bloodshed,gore,mutilation,feels,love etc.If you are looking for an anime that will make you cry your heart out then this is the one.This anime won't let you down for sure it will take you for a ride you have never been on.The opening song is really great know as Lilium the theme of the opening song is the theme played when Kotha ( the protagonist )opens his music box. He meets Lucy at an young age. Lucy on the other hand is bullied by everyone in her school for having horns and is even let down by the girl she thought as a friend she then goes on a rampage when she sees her pet stray puppy being beat down by her bullies and kills them all. she then takes a vow to kill everyone.When she is sitting down near a tree where she buried her dog she meets Kotha and is about to kill him when she is stooped by Kohta been amused by the horn on her head she takes a liking for him and they go out and play but each night Lucy murders a family to live in their home. The story goes on, the manga on the other hand is different from the anime and is more longer and elaborate with more characters it too will make you cry at the end.Hope you enjoy

mll23 I decided to set 5 hours out of my day to watch this show, and I was not disappointed. Rarely do I ever give a 10, but this movie brought happiness, action... It brought tears. The plot line was great, and each character had their own back story. If you want to feel involved, and be touched by a show, I recommend this one. Best Anime I've seen to date.Each episode brings a new bit of useful information, a new connection, or an interesting and wild fight scene. With 4 prominent characters 13 episodes and OVA you will not be let down!What are you waiting for, go watch this show as soon as you get your hands on it
