The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Mandeep Tyson
The acting in this movie is really good.

The most boring piece of crap that has ever graced the television genre. It seems to only be liked by people that are childhood-biased. they CLEARLY haven't re-watched the show since they were seven!!! I wonder how in the heck this is considered a "90's classic"! It's LITERALLY the most unoriginal heap of garbage I have ever seen!

Eh.... I say this was the bad start of the nerd protagonist, I mean, all this is , is a kid in high school. Nothing much. It would be YEARS before they got the nerd protagonist right, I mean, take a look at Friendship is Magic, and Diary of a Wimpy kid! They get it right! Here, they just made an average life. Friendship is Magic and Diary of wimpy kid made the nerds funny and likable, Doug is just life! I don't want to watch life, I want to LIVE it! Nothing much to say, it's just bland, uninteresting and, as Rainbow Dash, said, NOT COOL! I know some of you are fans of this show, And I don't hate for doing so. But, we have our opinions, and I say, it's bland. P.S. WHY DOES THE TOP TV SHOWS SAYS THAT THIS IS BETTER THAN FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC?!?!?!?

This was an abysmal show. In short it was about this kid called Doug who guilt-tripped a lot. Seriously he could feel guilty over killing a fly then feeling guilty over feeling guilty for killing the fly and so forth. The animation was grating and unpleasant and the jokes cheap. It aired here in Sweden as a part of the "Disney time" show and i remember liking it some what but then i turned 13.I never got why some of the characters were green and purple too. What was up with that? Truly a horrible show. Appareantly it spawned a movie which i've never seen but i don't have any great expectations for that one either.

I used to watch this show when I was growing up. When I think about it, I remember it very well. If you ask me, it was a good show. Two things I remember very well are the opening sequence and theme song. In addition to that, everyone was ideally cast. If you ask me, Roger (voice of Fred Playten) was a reall sarcastic bully. I still liked him, though. Also, the writing was very strong. The performances were top-grade, too. I hope some network brings it back so I can see every episode. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever, even though I don't think I've seen every episode. Now, in conclusion, if some network ever brings it back, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.
