Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
ptrrssll We watched this show each and every week. The entire house would discuss the intrigue and the complex plot, the baddies, who was a goodie, or not. Right up to the last episode and then ... then ... what happened, it just died, all the complex plotting all the mysterious characters, just dissolved into nothing and the show ended. We sat there on the lounge and looked at each other, we wanted to cry. How could they do this to us, who's responsible! What a crock of SH!T.Even though we were left in tears of utter disappointment at the end, all the episodes until then were gripping and we loved every minute. I recommend watching all but the last episode, then just be happy with your fantasies about how it could have ended. Anything you dream up on your own will be better than that last awful episode.Maybe it will become an internet meme - the "Dig" alternate ending competition. I still want to cry.
pavle68 I am not a conspiracy theories fan, but nevertheless I like a good story. This one isn't. Underdeveloped, full of holes, 'deus ex macina' situations which are magically solving apparent problems in script... That Moriah secret society is depicted as bunch of high school kids on a field trip to get drunk and laid. The Essen part of the story had more potential in it. Also the story of cop being conned by two archaeologists could have been a fantastic plot by itself if developed properly. The set though is the only thing I have enjoyed.Acting is bad, especially on the US side of the cast. But not to blame it all on the actors, they seemed to be left clueless most of the time by script writers. yet i've watched it to the end. I usually do so with the TV series. At least their first seasons. Will pass the second one on this (if any).
fullheadofsteam In reading 20 reviews (prior to this one), more than half were positive and the overall IMDb rating was 7 stars out of 10. So WHY is the review that appears on the IMDb main page for this series a 2 stars rating??? But, getting beyond that obvious miscue, there is a blogging message board that has some negative (and to be honest, intellectually sloppy) comments that choose to focus primarily on the season finale. Now for fairness: the series does start out slow, but it is methodical and for those viewers who appreciate intelligent plot and character development over quick and slick carnival ride types of entertainment, then you're willing to keep tuning in and you will soon be hooked on the quality of this show. If you are easily confused and, even more, too easily frustrated by easy confusion, this is not the series for you. Otherwise, it is worth watching from start to finish, and the best way to watch the finale is to watch it back-to-back with the previous episode, as it was made as a two-parter, and if possible what is even better, watch the final 3 episodes back-to-back (O.K., take a brief potty and snack break!). Everything climaxes and comes to a comprehensible conclusion.
KellyVanRijn For nine episodes, this show built momentum towards some sort of conclusion. Then came episode ten. I'm not sure if this was a supposed to be a ten episode mini series or what, but the last episode seemed to be cobbled together real quickly with little sense of coherency. The big reveal was that the red headed girl was trying to avenge her nutty father, an archaeologist marginalized years before by the archaeologist with whom the red headed is sleeping. The only interesting character, the Israeli cop, was killed in the previous episode by the red headed girl. Awful ending. The whole conspiracy thing thing just fizzled out, as if the writers got bored with their jobs. I hope this series gets canceled for being stupid.
