Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.

It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review

My husband and I absolutely love this show and look forward to each new episode every week. We love the chemistry between the characters and the unique situations they find themselves in. We love all the different ways they handle their problems and how they always look out for each other in the end. We love all of the characters - and their flaws. We find ourselves using quotes from the show between us as inside jokes. We bought all the prior seasons and finished watching them earlier tonight. We will be buying this season when it comes out too. This is a fantastic TV show for adults to enjoy. So much better than the reality stuff. We have our DVR set to record this show just in case we are caught away from home when it comes on. We also re-watch the recordings on other nights because we enjoy this show so much. We are really picky with our likes and dislikes in TV shows and this show definitely makes our very short "LOVE THIS" list! My husband says he enjoys the sarcasm as well as the "boobs" when he watches the show. We love how they share "TMI" (too much information) between each other and how it makes the other characters "uncomfortable" dealing with it. Even the Target commercials with them in it are hilarious so we actually watch those commercials. I love this show because it depicts adults in their forties as still being able to have fun in their lives. There is never a dull moment going on in any of the episodes. We love the funny title cards they put up at the beginning of the show. We actually rewind the show to see those again. They have also dealt with some really serious issues while still being able to keep things light. We find ourselves laughing through the whole show. My husband and I wish we could hang out with people like these characters in real life. You just know there would never be a dull moment. Thank you TBS for helping keep one of our most favorite shows on the air. I think this show has "staying power" and if it were promoted better – it has the potential to be a number one show. They take real live trivial concerns and magnify them so people are able to laugh at themselves instead of taking everything so seriously.

first of all, sorry for my grammar.I'm a huge series lover, like Glee,Friends, Seinfield and Scrubs. Sitcoms are hard to do, the ones who do Best is Friends, Seinfield and Big Bang Theorie. Cougar Town is very original. It doesn't have nerds involved or much break ups and crying scenes which most of the series do. I has made it own standard of humor. Jules, which is a single mom is just amazing. Which mom says '' Heres your laundry, I used lavender because I know how you like to smell as a B*tch , I'm out '' to her sun..... That is original. Eli, which is by far my favorite character in the show, is an sarcastic woman, very sarcastic. And Laurie, well , I think she is over-acting, yes its a bad thing, not everything can be good, but her humor (scripted of course) Is so much fun! At every time I watch a episode I just have to tweet one of the many quotes they say. Its an awesom series and It deserves for sure more then just 7 stars. I think the problem with series is they are compared, compared and compared. I used to do it with Friends which I've seen too many times. And one day, when I said to myself, I'm gonna give Cougar Town a shot and go open minded, I felt everything was new, like if it was the first sitcom ever! Courtney does a wonderful job and so as well as the rest of the cast. I think this is one of the best shows ever and should not be canceled ( so I've hear ).Still my number one stays Friends, and this show comes as third. Walking Dead as second (: I hope I convinced you to see at least the first season so you could change your mind.

I absolutely love this show! Its truly to die for! They constantly have me laughing, cougar town really shows how actual friendship and family dynamics work. At least in my life, minus all the wine drinking. Courtney Cox is clearly known as Monica from friends, but her character Jules is a little bit Monica with a whole bunch of Crazy. She is predictably unpredictable and thats what I love about this character. Grayson is just to funny, yet serious, and sensitive. And Ellie.. That woman is just to good to be true. I love how cynical she is. And every one is OK with that. Lori, She is real life. Thats all. Travis, I love this guy. He is exactly what I hope to have in a son, and there are real one like him out there. He seem's like a real "person" not just a character, Funny, Smart, and most of all he loves his Mommy. Andy and Bobby are such a good pair, dynamic duo. So funny and show's how a real Bromance works. This show is a hilarious show about family and friendship that I have literally sat down and watched for hours and I don't regret not cleaning the house that day. :) I love love love love this show. Absolutely Hilarious!!

I used to love Courtney Cox so much, I started watching Cougar Town because of her. But I don't understand what's wrong with her right now. She ruins everything. First, I can't stand watching her botox overused face, it's so scary and artificial. Second, her character is so annoying. It's kinda similar to Monica from Friends, but in Friends the spotlight was on her only for 1/6 of the time and she didn't seem annoying. Now her character is so disgusting that the whole shaw loses sense. I mean no one would marry or be friends with such a bad person. Plus, it's kinda unrealistic - for example, there is so way her son would be even close to normal in real life. Furthermore SHE IS A BAD ACTRESS. Again, it was not that obvious in Friends. The same goes with Josh Hopkins. He is a bad, bad actor, having hard times while trying to control his facial expressions. Overall - first the series seemed fun, the characters were also not that annoying, but soon they underwent a modification and now, after I have finished watching the third season, there is no way I will continue watching it. The worst part of the story? I will never be able to watch Friends with the same feelings I used to before. Courtney Cox ruined everything.
