Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.

The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

It is worth watching. It is like watching a series that has a plot made up while shooting is taking place. It talks itself through its own absurdities while walking away from problematic events. The cast make it worth watching. And the FX computer people do fine work. Going for ''back to my family'' blah blah and times with the flakey Kellog instead of UST (unresolved sexual tension) with the buddy was a strange and unworthy decision. It has much going for it but confuses ignorance and complexity with mystery and wonder.

I'm only writing this review because I want the execs and writers to hear the voice of a Sci-Fi fan. This show sucks. It's another drama/cop show with boring plots. All the stories I've watched so far play out just like every cop drama and I HATE cop dramas, I don't hate cops, just the way they are portrayed on Television, and that includes detectives in CSI and all that other baloney. They never get to the heart of how complicated most cases and people are. And this show suffers from that as well. It's an hour long episode of people bickering, little lies, confrontations that rarely ever end in any form of real resolution. As far as the plot holes, here's one, it's supposed to be sci-fi but there isn't any. Having a few gadgets does not make it sci-fi.And there are so many of these shows, Defiance, The 100, Falling skies, Revolution, and more I'm sure. They all build there stories upon conflicts that are rooted in the characters having poor logic skills or poor lines of communication. Then there's the constant gun play, so many shoot outs, with so little resolution. You know what made Star Trek so great? They found ways to tell stories that didn't revolve around people arguing. Sure, some of the episodes were more boring than others, but not as boring as watching fake gun battles. Please, if you're reading this and you're a writer or a T.V. exec, just know that this kind of schlock has go to stop.

There's lots of promise in the concept and storyline, good special effects also. I 'stuck' with it for 5 episodes in Series 1, but I just couldn't believe the characters... lame and wooden, especially the Cop character Carlos! Shame. Its a time-hopping saga, from future to present set in Vancouver, with some great photography and CGI's, especially Keiras tech-suit has some cool ideas.May revisit it at some time after my initial time investment, but there are some many good alternatives I NEED to watch first!

Though i am not happy with the sudden ending of the season and in favor of it being continued, the same has been quite of a regular watch to me. The season is full of surprises and happenings that could not be well predicted. Every episode is a must watch as much happens in 50 minutes. Its one of the fastest season i have ever watched and it places itself above Person Of Interest and the blacklist(as per my views). The basic concept of having come from future keeps you boosted throughout and nothing seems out of place (its all future tech). The concept of corporate congress is a well thought agenda in the present time as much can be seen in everyday life. The whole idea, 'Its only you who controls your future' gives you a direction of thought and a motivation to work for the greater human good. The season is complete in all aspects, starting from story line to acting and from ideology to reality. It makes you think and manages to interest you throughout. Though certain scientific paradoxes are hard to digest, NOTHING SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE.
