Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

This series is a perfect example of why Marvel is kicking DC's ass all over the place when it comes to tv and cinematic portrayals of their properties. I don't mean to imply this series was bad, the exact opposite actually. I loved this mini series and it had me longing to take all five minisodes, combine them into one, and add on another two hours or so to make it a full movie. The premise behind the series is interesting and has the potential to be a really great full-length film that not only has John kicking demon ass, but getting a really good and interesting look at his backstory that not many people may know about. What really angers me is that shows like this one are regulated to 6-minute minisodes while works of complete idiocy like Batman Ninja and Batman and Harley Quinn are given full movie running times. Even Justice League Dark, which I actually liked, felt like it had been cheapened by limiting it to barely over an hour's runtime. So much more could have been done with it in so many ways. The problem, basically, is DC isn't treating their characters and property with the same level of respect Marvel does with its properties. Even though the majority are live action these days, just look at the differences between Marvel's films and DC's. Look at the levels of anticipation between Justice League and Avengers Infinity War. There was hardly any anticipation for Justice League because you could tell just from its preview and the way it handled its characters in previous films that it was going to be terrible, while the exact opposite is true for Marvel.Honestly, DC needs to focus their attention and effort a lot more on shows like Constantine: City of Demons and Justice League Dark, while exploring bringing characters like Constantine to Netflix where they can really play around with them and their storylines without studio interference, because, without question, DC is losing the multi-media war with Marvel, and losing it BADLY.

I have just watched all of the current 5 episodes and so far I am enjoying what I see. I hope there are more episodes because I can't stand a cliffhanger. I hope John Constantine and Chas Chandler finds a way to save Trisha from Beroul control and probably find a way to fix their past.It is funny that Damian O Hare the voice of John Constantine is work with Matt Ryan the true John Constantine actor. With the great recurring voice talents Laura Bailey as Ash the Heeler and Emily O'Brien as Chas Chandler's wife makes it even. I just hope we get to hear Rachel Kimsey, Jim Meskimen and Robin Atkins Dawns in more episodes if there is any.If you want explore more about John Constantine and his life then this series is worth the watch. Don't miss out just because it is animated there's a lot of blood and swearing in this. See also Freedom Fighters the Ray and Vixen for more animated DC projects from the CW network.

This was some of if not THE best work ive seen in a literal decade from DC animation.
Its made for the growing audience which is has to start recognising. many of us are in our 20's even 30's now and we still love watching the old justice league and batman series and all the films. But to grow with your audience is so important to keep the brand really alive. Produce adult content in animation next to content made for kids. You can do both and this little series proves it 100%

An animated series centering on the adventures of supernatural detective John Constantine. Even tho this isn't the Season 2 that fans were hoping 'Constantine: City of Demons' packs alot of great supernatural themes, fantastic animation and once again Matt Ryan as John Constantine. Please note tho that the Series is not meant for little kids the scene in the Club was a mix of Predator meets Blade with lots of horror elements and gore. Also i loved the fact that we saw John in his early years when he was still learning on being a sorcerer. Fans of the DC TV Series and the character in general won't be disappointed. (A+)
