One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Well, this show is long gone, but I still think of it sometimes. It was SO funny; I rarely laugh as hard as I did from this TV show! But it was also touching. Even "Mr. Binkley," as I always referred to Tom Poston, as a dying clown in the closet, was absurd, and yet it was comforting to have him around! My favorite scene was when Josh and her best friend (who happened to be a black man in a wheelchair), were each trying to be the first to talk to Marni. It was hysterical as they just played music as the two vied to get to her first. The other that sticks with me was bittersweet; the episode about the first snow. If this show comes out on DVD, I'm there!

Marni is a great girl, that girl, who looks incredible, plus a great heart, this series make smile every time that I saw it, has a light humor, great actress.... I can not see "Close to home" just because I always want to remember that actress like Marni.... And his boyfriend was so cute to, his friend, absolutely great... and the clown... make out breath of laughing.... well, it is a shame to see that only are 12 episodes... It was a great series. but maybe don't have any more ideas the producers.... at least, we can always have marni in our memoriesGrettings from this country CHILE, I hope soon came more series like this.... it will needed... At least we have HEROES...Bye BYe

It would be a travesty not to put this show and keep it until it catches on like Seinfeld did back in the day.No show since Seinfeld has gone out of the universe to make fun of everyday querks about nothing. They do a great job of making fun of some of the outrageous things we do when dating. They utilize New York City very well too. Great locations and crazy people everywhere.Since NBC no longer has a Tuesday night like they used to when "Will & Grace" and "Just Shoot Me" were on with two other great shows before they moved to Thursday night, they should keep it on Thursday and move out that stupid show "Head Office.

Poor Scrubs. I keep missing the show on Tuesdays. I kept hoping that once Joey started playing on Thursday, Scrubs would be in the 8:30 spot, but no.This show is. I would rather watch Scrubs on Thursday, but this is pleasant. I wouldn't mind seeing this and Scrubs on Tuesday in the same hour.Clown is a funny character...does he live in the closet? The messed up apartment was interesting, as was the Muppets phone.I can't say it was bad. Doesn't have the wit of Scrubs nor the mainstay value of Joey, but it could find its own niche attached to one of the shows. I would like that, because like I have said before, I don't stop to watch a 30 min show, so Scrubs has been skipped over by me and I shouldn't skip it, it is a good show.Oh, yeah. Committed is good too.
