A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

I remember when the pilot was shown it says that Abbey moved back home with her twin girls but in season 2 episode 9, Carrie is having a birthday and she is now 10 yrs old. What happened???? Then I read in another site that one daughter is 9 and the other is 7.I had a feeling they weren't twins so why did they say it in the pilot?

I truly like Chesapeake Shores. The story line and family dynamics are great. The only downside is that it is to take place on the Chesapeake shore of MD and it is filmed in Canada. It looks nothing like MD! I love that part of MD and was really hoping to see it showcased. I really wish they had created a fictional part of a shore instead of something so iconic as the MD shore.

As someone who grew up on the Chesapeake and moved away, I started watching this hoping to see familiar sights of my beloved Bay. It's filmed in Canada. I won't go into how this makes me feel, but suffice to say, I don't think they should be allowed to call it "Chesapeake shores" and not go anywhere near the Chesapeake. The show is okay, but not original or good enough that I got engrossed enough to see past that. I'm a pretty easy sell, so that's... really fairly bad.

As much as I love Diane Ladd, I don't like her rendition of an Irish brogue. I know people who've lived here in the States for 50 years, and theirs have faded somewhat; hers doesn't cut it at all. Maybe it can just fade out of the show altogether. I love the story lines! The family is dysfunctional, as are most families. Some of the situations could be sugar coated, but they're not. I do want to smack Conor "up side the head" very often. I love the show, I'll watch every episode. But I just wanted to make my opinion on this known. Thank You
