Caillou Audience Reviews

Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
NekoHomey Purely Joyful Movie!
Casey Duggan It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
ajcwizkid Canadian series-Caillou follows the adventures of a 3-4 year old (gray shirt series) boy who throws temper tantrums, whines A LOT, has a lack of manners , never gets "Time-Outs", and is just bad in general. His parents are just plain bad too. In one episode, Caillou's father leaves a baby on a changing table unattended and Caillou pinches her WITHOUT punishment. In another episode, Caillou is not happy with his babysitter and gets upset with her. Also in one episode, Caillou swears, which was banned. There is nothing to say about the newer series (yellow shirt series) except that is bad too. This version of the show tries to take a newer approach to try and teach kids things like friendship without 3 year old's Caillou's naughty behaviour. However it secretly teaches kids about discrimination of race (In one episode, Safety-Patrol Caillou blows a whistle at black kid during daycare.) and politically correct "world-views". and more stuff kids shouldn't be learning at 2 to 4 years old.I am GLAD that this show was canceled in 2010, but it STILL airs in reruns on PBS and other international channels. Parents PLEASE turn off this this show when it comes on and BLOCK IT WITH PARENTAL CONTROLS!-Ajc Wizkid - Rating 1/10
Wiiboy500 Terrible Show! The animation is super bad, Caillou is a such a annoying little baby, he is worser than D.W. I would rather watch Paw Patrol than this piece of dang garbage. Even though I hate Paw Patrol I still like Nick Jr. they at least have shows that aren't terrible, and contain brats. They have shows like Wow Wow Wubbzy! my 2nd favorite Nick Jr. show, and Max and Ruby my favorite Nick Jr. show of all time. Caillou is such bad. It is outdated, the title makes little to no sense, it won't teach any kids how to be smart, and it's super annoying. Thank God it Got cancelled 7 years ago, but sadly it moved to sprout in 2012.
pattypattyzap This show is a mind poisoner. My 5 year old was a polite kid who respected orders and obeyed me. He even took his own shower, and smelt like the best thing ever! Until one day, he watched Caillou. He watched it over and over, and when I heard the word stupid, I ran to the TV to turn it off. I said that it was a bad show to watch, because it said stupid! Then he screamed in my face. He has not done that since he was 1 years old! What happened? Barney taught him caring, my little pony taught him friendship, Dora taught him new language, and all Caillou taught him was to throw fits! But why? I experimented him. I banned the show for about 2 months, and he was a nice little kid, and I made him watch it again. 2 weeks later, he noticed a wheel popped off of his car, like Caillou's car. Then he slammed on the floor, woke my 2 year old baby up, and broke the flower vase! I watched Cailou since I wanted to know how. It was terrible! He threw a fit, and next thing you know, he gets whatever he wants! His baby sister is 2x younger, and is more mature. Caillou pinched Rosie, and his parents did not care! Rosie was in extreme pain. Cailou shows kids that whatever you do, you will not get in trouble. I had to block this show from him, and he became my little sweetie pie! Do not let your kids watch it! It's mind poison!
Melissa S I was 16 when Caillou came out but I have three younger sisters. I watched it with them when it first came out. This show is not as bad as people are making it out to be. Yes, Caillou can be whinny or misbehave sometimes BUT he is corrected when he is. It isn't just brushed off. He is told what not to do, what is nice, what is mean, how not to be afraid in the dark or upset when he falls down, and how to be helpful and share. I have a three year old watching it and it has yet to make her a brat. This show is not bad. There are a lot of shows that are currently on kid's channels. Also, Caillou doesn't have cancer. He was just drawn without hair.
