Excellent, Without a doubt!!

The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
TrueHello
Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

This is a mom who lets her kids disrespect her and walk all over her. I'm pretty open with my teenage daughter, and would never allow her to treat me like this mom allows.I watched the first season (while doing a paperwork project), and it never got better. I'm halfway through the second episode of the second season, and I'm done. There's a million better series out there, and none of them are this bad.

This show blows me away with its gritty reality. It's completely believable and totally hilarious. The entire cast do a fabulous job. I find myself constantly smiling. It's so uncannily like life - and I'm a divorced dad with sons, but can relate strongly! Keep these episodes coming! Great work folks!

Great show...very well done. Stories are relatable (except for the 'struggling single mom' who lives in a giant Hollywood mansion). I really like Pamela Adlon's delivery. Never really been a Louie C.K. fan, but this gives me hope.

I love Better Things. There is nothing else like it on Network TV. But is it just me, or does there seems to be so little show for the number and length of commercial breaks? Does that mean it's a big hit, that FX can sell so much commercial time? It's excessive though; it's abusive to the viewer. There's a Better Things marathon this weekend, and I tried to tune in to re-watch episodes, but I honestly balked at the number of commercials and turned it off.
